Hey everyone! I hope you are all well... So... what's been happening here... Not too much actually. I've been taking walks/hikes with my dog, Timber and my friends Jen and Debbie quite a bit. Hello everyone! So, I've been getting so many wonderful emails asking how I am doing, adjusting to home, etc. I thought I might keep up this journal becuase I always found it kind of fun on my trip. Ha! Just realized that August 25th lasted 30 hours for me and boy did it feel like it! I left this morning (Europe time) at 10:30 and walked to the train station, took a bus to the airport, checked my bags and got on the plane where I proceeded to sleep 4 of the 6 hours away! Arriving home was weird... the people seemed strange, the air smelled different, but Jon meeting me at the airport was just perfect... thanks friend... after a bit of chatting, I unpacked EVERYTHING and cleaned my room a bit. Well... I thought it was a myth that people just wander around lost in Amsterdam, but I totally understand why now! I STILL can't get myself where I have to go... After the Didj store, we came back to the hostel for a while. This kid, Kaya (London), that works here and I started talking a bit the day before and he was just so nice. Well! Not sure really what to say about this place here... the first day I was here I went to the Anne Frank house and that was quite an experience. Very sad, but very touching. I walked a good deal of the west side of the city that day too. The first night, met some nice people and went out walking... we experienced some of the night life here but didn't really check out the red light district... Well... I have only been here for 2 hours and woah! What a city this will be... my hostel is just amazing... Hi all! Dana and I had a wonderful time in Dresden... when we arrived (after her wonderful parents drove us there) we found a really nice little festival. First, we went to the amazing museum there and saw some incredable gold and jeweles! It was amazing... then, we drank and ate a bit and laughed a lot... wait until you see the pictures of Dana eating! Yessss... money shots...
