Soccer players Those kids had some amazing talents! I enjoyed the soccer video. The whole family missed you at Thanksgiving today. I'd like to say that I'll have leftovers for you when you get back, but I don't think they would be very good by then. :)
We miss you! We were glad to talk to you today! Nice outfit. You should bring it home to wear to school.
We enjoyed seeing the monument to Saduko and the paper cranes.
We'll be watching for more!
Wow! Looks like you are having a wonderful time. So many different customs are exciting to see. I guess the teachers wouldn't know what to do with a cafeteria. What would they think of a duty free lunch? I look forward to having time to see the rest of your travels. Have a great time and see you soon. Dana
Great Blog! Hi Jeremy, I've started following your blog partly because I went with JFMF to Japan in last month in October and I too had a blog. My students, friends, family, and collegues loved it. Your blog is great! It's filled with fabulous photos and information about your trip. I'm reliving some of my great experiences through your blog. I teach computer literacy in Manchester, New Hampshire. I went to Ikeda City, and I'm hoping to learn about Matsuyama from you. Have fun!!
Samurai Jeremy,
That's a good picture, Samurai. I love reading your blog and looking at your picture..this is so informative! I am glad you are having a great time. Happy Thanksgiving!
Too much fun! It looks to me like you and those children are having way TOO much fun to be in school!! I'm really enjoying your travelblog and I know it takes lots of time on your part to do it. Thanks for making us a part of your trip! Happy Thanksgiving.
A Gracious Welcome Everyday and Every Minute Charles, thanks for keeping me in your prayers and thanks for the comment. I am completely amazed at the level of respect that is shown by all Japanese people. Time and time again, I keep reminding myself the experiences I have had here in Japan would never happen in America for a Japanese tourist or for anyone.
I may be too hard on Americans, but after starting to take a picture in the Hiroshima Castle, a guard quickly approached me and waved his hand telling me no. Quickly apologizing, I bowed and apologized again. The guard, he bowed even lower to me a couple times. Why would he do that? I'm was in the wrong. Respect and honor. I've never seen it on this level before.
Thanks Jeremy. We discussed in SS yesterday whether we (US citizens) are as gracious at Pearl Harbor(to Japanese) as you were received at Hiroshima. Hope so. Your safety and benefit havr been requested in prayer. BEST

First Night I am eating. It might not be a lot, but I'm making it through each day.
I know this time of the year is crazy, but this time of the year also goes by so fast. Before you know it, we'll be home for Christmas

Strawberries... Yes, those strawberries do look very appealing. Much better than the fish heads! But you're right....for that price, I'll pass. :) The pictures and videos are great!
