Andrea, Just thought I would let you know that I agree with your comments on Medellin. I am 61, retired and moved to Medellin three months ago. El Penol isn't Devil's Tower in size, but, like you said, the views are fantastic. The boat tour on the lakes was well worth the money also. It went right past the burned out remains of a home of Pablo Escobar. The government burned it when he was killed and left it as a reminder to those who see it. I have yet to go to the Cafeteria but plan to do so soon. The weather here in Medellin is to die for. The people are really nice as you found out and the love to party. Take Care!
