Animals What a lovely story. The animals must be great to see so close. I too just love the Giraffes. So gracious, arent they. always been my favourite. Enjoy the rest of journey. as you say one step closer to home. Love to both XX
Try writing you blog in Word on your computer... and then copying and pasting onto Travelblog; although I don't know if TB has fixed the problem of accompanying metadata. You will still have a problem uploading pictures on slow internet, however.
Nice wrap up... Are you taking an overland tour from Kenya to Capetown? I've followed many that took that route and there and you will be able to find internet along the way. I found internet cafes in even small towns in Uganda. Of course the bandwidth made posting pictures impossible, so maybe you'll have to wait for the larger cities to post your blogs, which I am looking forward to.
Yep - Nairobi to cape town Yeah hopefully will get a chance to blog. I guess just depends on how quick I can write on a computer in an Internet cafe (I'm imagining a lot of people trying to use three computers)
Journeys. Well you have plenty of laughs and worries too but it all sounds a great time for you both, Must have been a real worryn when the Van broke down. Good luck on your next adventure. love .

Story Happy Birthday Michael for the 6th. Your meal sounded great. What a lovely story. had to laugh at the wheel going past you ! Do be careful. guess you must have wondered where the guy was taking you. The photos michael are as always super. Nearest we will get to these countries. Enjoy have fun. love
Wow, you made it to Lauterbrunnen before I suggested it in comments on the previous blog... Thanks for the pictures and memories of another of our favorite destinations in Europe.
Wonderful photography You have so gorgeously captured my favourite region of Europe that it feels like I am there again - your photography is truly a treasure to behold. Sounds like you are heading to the Prague to explore the Old City - cannot wait to see what magic you capture with your camera in what is (in my opinion) the most beautiful city in Europe.
Story What a dream trip ! It sounds glorious, and the photos are wonderful. To us oldies it is lovely to read all about these countries.,as we will never get there. But your Blog tells us so much. Great reading., enjoyed it all once again. Waiting for more
You are visiting all my favorite places in Europe... but how could you have been to Antibes and not posted one picture! I hope you visited Sirmione on Lake Garda. As for Switzerland you have to go to the Bernese Oberland south of Interlaken and hike the mountains. There is a good campground at the end of the Lauterbrunnen Valley.
photos and story We ll kids you have done it again.! It is really thrilling to us to read all of your trip. What a lot of places you are seeing, all must be lovely. The photos once again are truly lovely. Love the Sunflowers.! Enjoy be careful love from us.
Enjoy Italy Hi Guys. Thanks for the updates. Looks amazing. I hope your going to Sorrento and capri while you are in Italy. If you are it is totally worth the effort of catching a ferry from Napoli to Stromboli (active volcano). If you take the fast ferry it only takes you half a day to get there. Leave your van at the port in Napoli. Also a nice break away from the van.
All is good here. Lachy is growing up so fast. He reminds me of you Michael with the constant chatter. xox Leese.
We having been living overseas for the last two and a half years (Canada and London), and now that our UK Visas have ended we are returning to the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Naturally we are traveling our way home... for 5 months.

After a reasonable resting period we will fly to Nairobi, Kenya we will join a 2 month Kenya to Cape Town overland camping expedition.
