A Crash Course in Archaeology It took a few days to get rolling but taking over as supervisor or PittBoss as the undergrads I have been working with prefer to call me of trench 4400 has been entirely worth it. At first however I was totally and completely lost. I shouldn't complain really since I've had time to catch up on some work. Then I spent my evenings making friends with a local taverna owner named Manoles and by default practicing my Greek http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Greece/Crete/blog-408463.html Week 1 Space Age Technology and Ancient Archaeology Yia sas from Crete It's been a busy week but as I write today I'm sitting on the back porch at the center waiting for my laundry to finish and reflecting on a good but tiring seven days. I've got a lot to say three projects in one week so feel free to read any all or none of this Also thanks for the kind emails I'm glad people are interested in what I'm up to and hope these blogs http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Greece/Crete/blog-406430.html Arriving in Crete and Pacheia Amos This is my first blog for my stay in Crete. I'll try to do at least one a week for the next 5 or 6 weeks with pictures so you all can keep track of what I'm up to. This is also my first blog ever so I apologize if it ends up being long confusing or uninteresting so please bear with me.I arrived in Crete on Friday afternoon after a long trip from New York JFK through Paris Charles De Gaulle http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Greece/Crete/Rethymno/blog-403859.html
