Travis was happy... dunno if that was down to the beers he had while we waited for my bus to come in. You never know with that boy.Went back to his house where all the boys were already. Gareth a http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/Wales/Cardiff/blog-110097.html Amsterdam photos Here here http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Netherlands/North-Holland/Amsterdam/blog-95527.html Hamster Damns. Man Amsterdam is the shiznitAll started off with me and andrew getting up at 6am after 4 hours sleep and hungover to head to Edinburgh airport. Nothing too eventful... although there was a vending machine in the airport where you put in a pound and out pops some toothpaste and a little plastic brush about the size of a thumbnail. You chuck the toothpaste in then chuck the brush in your mouth a http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/Netherlands/North-Holland/Amsterdam/blog-95074.html Hire car antics So me and Andrew hired a car over the weekend. It all started at 9am on Saturday morning as we strolled into the Avis place in Edinburgh. Love at first site hahah nah but what we did get was a new as VW Golf 1.6l manual beasty. Andrew was a bit miffed cause we had asked for an auto cause he's a bit rough on the manuals so he said so I got to do all the driving. So we started off from Edinburg http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/Scotland/Edinburgh/blog-86517.html Nay bother mah wee lad Yea in Scotland now aye. Mmm... been a while since last update.Spent about 6 weeks at that job in St Pauls. Was alright I guess. My boss went away for 3 of those weeks and most of that time was spent browsing the net cause i had sweet FA to do. The boys in the office often went to the pub at lunch which was a bloody good idea. We must bring this idea to NZ. Piss ups at lunch time Yes And ice c http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/Scotland/Edinburgh/blog-80618.html 27 days Since my last update... yea.Not a much been happening really. Working as an office bitch at the moment in St Paul's area... seems alright at least its an income of english pounds so i can stop leeching off the nz funds... of which there arnt much left.Only got another week in the current flat... trying to find somewhere to stay for a month or so until i head up to edinburgh. Oh did I mention that http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/Bayswater/blog-69911.html England photos Bonny old england http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/Bayswater/blog-63421.html Photosss Right... here we go. http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-63406.html What a slack ass So its been a while since my last update... cause there hasnt been much to update you on.Although my birthday was fun. Everyone went out on saturday night sunday was my birthday because another bloke had his birthday on saturday. So we all got rather drunk as you do. I don't have much recollection of that night but I know our flat somehow ended up with a rather lavish coffee table how why http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/Bayswater/blog-63402.html Another week in london... No jobs yet but im trying out a little thing selling paintball tickets. Its commission only so im a bit hum har over it... might give it a few days.. we'll see. It has a really good social circle free piss ups every friday night etc.. so yea and it does have the potential to earn a lot of money guys who have been there for 6 months or so are getting around 1k per week now but being commiss http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/London-City/blog-55553.html London life Well we've been in our flat for almost a week now. Been in london for 2 and it is starting to all feel normal now... well apart from the fact that they offer you corn on your subway sandwiches.Looking for a job not as easy as first thought. Seems there are no dedicated IT agencies like candle or such back home. Always seems to be investment bankers with an IT branch. None of them have replied t http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/London-City/blog-52709.html London's calling... Been in london over a week now. staying at ISH hostel um... somewhere. westminster... near oxford st. Sorted out a bank account yesterday which was easy enough. IEPBunac helped heaps with this cause it probaly would have otherwise taken a few weeks to sort one out.havnt started looking for a job yet cause im a slack ass and want to wait until i get into our flat in bayswater first just so all http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Greater-London/London-City/blog-50843.html Bangkok Day 2 We all woke up about 8am with healthy hang overs to suit. It was yet another overcast and stupidly humid day... hovering around 30 degrees and 100 or so I guess. We woke to some news that unfortunatly Hamish had had about 500 euro's stolen from his room likely by the cleaners. He headed off to make a police report while the rest of us decided to head to some markets that Trav knew of via a frie http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-49994.html Bangkok Day 1 Both me and Trav shared a room. 1 single bed and one double bed. We were highly amused to find that the toilet was inside a shower cubicle and that it had its own hose tap and drain..to wash things down. The wardrobe was also in its own exshower cubicle with drain. I'll put some pics up when i can get them off my camera. So we had a pretty shitty nights sleep due to the heat and the air cond http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-49987.html Bumpy Bangkok Ok Im in the UK now but ill start the adventure off from when I left auckland.Left auckland at 3pmish on the 28th of March. We were stoked to find out that our plane had individual TV monitors and even games where you could play against other passengers. The multitue of movies helped heaps in passing the 12 hours of flying to bangkok. Chicken little rocks by the way...go see it.Anyway the flig http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/Central-Thailand/Bangkok/blog-49983.html Gone In 1.5 hours I will be on my way to the airport to goto the other side of the world with a 3 day pitstop drink stop in bangkok. It'll be interesting.Spent the past 2 weeks running around between my arduous 13 hour sleep shifts getting everything sorted for my departure. God there's a lot of shit to do for OE's. Thank god I've been overseas before otherwise I would have been a mess.So my room http://www.travelblog.org/Oceania/New-Zealand/North-Island/Auckland/Albany/blog-49231.html
