Salt Balls - From: Masada and the Dead Sea - entry 7
This seriously reads like a wikipedia entry. Good work! The trip looks awesome but I think this is my favorite part. I actually licked one of the salt balls at Itay and Jaspreet's house . They tasted awful. Congratulations on another successful adventure.

1 city, 0 weddings and no surprises - From: Punjab: 4 Cities, 2 Weddings and 1 Big Surprise
What an adventure! The Himalayas, mountain passes, the Ganges, the ganja, donkeys, weddings, bridges, borders, buckets and Babloo. This trip seems to be beyond your and our wildest expectations. Big ups the Jaspreet planning and hospitality master. Itay you seem to be settling in to your new life quite well and embracing what to me was a warm, complex and beautiful country and culture. It makes me very happy to read your posts and as I told J on email, you are fantastic storytellers. Much love. Jacob

...and we're back! - From: Diwali in Dehradun
Don't worry, Valeria, we voted early before we left. Not that Obama needed our help to win his home state. All we hear is good things from Indians who have heard of him. And for those who haven't, we are to spread the gospel of Obama. Thanks to everyone else too for all the warm and fuzzy comments. Now it's update the blog and keep everyone happy. I hope.

Paratha - From: Oct 23-24: Chicago to Delhi, via Frankfurt
So you decided to check out Frankfurt after all. You stress me out. Jaspreet, make sure you take Itay to the paratha open air restaurant with the cockroaches on the walls, floor, roof and plates. It was the best paratha I have ever eaten. Send my what-ups to Shabad.

Congrats on making it halfway around the world. I'm thinking this is going to be somewhat like the Amazing Race (except you're not racing anybody). Bangla Sahib looks beautiful. The best photo award so far goes to Itay grabbing his wallet.
