Hello everyone. Yes I'm back home, and have had my fix on all the things I was dreaming of months ago. I really haven't had much time to relax, which is weird. I guess it's that saying "Coming back to earth". Coming back home... how does it feel? About 30 degrees heat haha. Nah, it's good to see parakeets, rosellas, and parrots sitting in the trees in my backyard, or going into a shop on a Sunday. Or how about a bed. I did shave off the "Flavour Saver" under my nose(but I re-newed my drivers license with an awesome photo) ;) haha. Australia is expensive. No doubt about that. If I see a hotdog stand selling hotdogs for $8 (6,50 EUR) then I know I'll need a job fast. I did not miss the ... read more

DEUTSCH UNTEN Ahhhh well hello.First off I'm not insane, I'm in a normal world. Arriving in Bangkok and driving, without hearing any noises. That was so soothing I almost fell asleep in the taxi going to the "KSR" or Khao San Road. I had a quick bite to eat and was going to go out on the street to have a well earned beer from *quivers* India. But India wasn't too bad as I left, and Delhi was pretty good I also need to say. BUT as I was getting ready in my room that night, I had to run to the toilet and do a Team America style of throwing up. I didnt mean to, but I sprayed the walls as I barged open the door. The next day, same thing. I was losing alot ... read more

Photos soon too Hello everyone. It doesn't seem like two weeks ago I was losing the plot. It was a close call though, I was avoiding as many people as I could and then it sort of hit me in the face. I relaxed and could deal with the touts and countless offers for Rickshaws, Hash, Hotels, and whatever other crap they could sell or get a commission. So, how does one relax and handle it? I have absolutely no idea, but I can only tell you how I dealt with it. I remembered from Paris, a group of certain Indians who always followed you around trying to sell 5 crap keyrings for one Euro. I remember, I didnt get angry but merely threw the annoyance back in their face by begging for 1 keyring ... read more

Well this will be my last blog for India. Although I may have not written much, the experience has been a lifetime worth of stories. I was going to start this off by bad mouthing everything. Oh, I was so angry. I wanted the time to run fast, to get out of this sh!thole. I finally understood what people mean when they said "every minute you'll be wanting to leave". For me it never was like that, until probably the return from a Camel Safari. And I'll just quickly add here that men were never deisgned for Camels, horses, or donkeys. After a 3 day Safari on a Camel I was walking like a cowboy and my groin felt like it was bleeding. If noone has ever read about India or been, then I think it ... read more

Ok. You know what? Stuff it. I said it will take too long to explain what it's like being in India. But do you know what? Here it goes. Stories that are coming from my travel diary. Somethings will not be for the light hearted or someone with a weak stomach. So read on. Laugh. Cry. Squirm in disgust. Smile and remember where you are and what you have, as I'm going to start to describe my life as I've seen it. I'll start with the day I was writing this blog... As I started this blog, I was sick lying in bed holding my stomach. It sucked but was bound to happen. I had a bucket besides the bedand a toilet close by, so thats one positive thing. But when you get the "travel bug" ... read more

Do you know how many times I tried to start this blog, then deleted it? Too many. I can't explain it. Serious. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then my pictures will help me out in this blog. Egypt was nice and travelling with Anna was so perfect, but saying goodbye was one of the hardest things I've done. In this blog, I just did point forms as something has come to my mind, it's the only way I could do it. Some are just questions that go through my mind. India? Take a look at the photos and have a read. Here we go... India - A beautiful mess Fu€... read more

PHOTOS SOON(DEUTSCH UND FOTOS BALD) "...I was washing my toothbrush with that water?" that's what I was thinking as I seen the river in Cairo, Egypt. Hello everyone for yet another blog. The rest of Istanbul was nice - I even got to take a cruise to the Black Sea, and you'll be glad to hear that noone was stabbed on that ferry. I also got to try "Raki" which tasted alot like Sambucca, but with 20 times worse the headache the next morning. And that was just one shot and sipping it over 40min! The day of my flight was hectic. I had maybe 4hrs sleep from the night before, a headache(Raki), rushed to hospital to take the stitches out(for free), then rushed to airport, ran to the plane as I seen "FINAL CALL" in ... read more

(DEUTSCH UNTEN) Hey guys! So one stop almost ticked off the list. In a couple of days, I make my next stop over - EGYPT!!! It will be hot, but I'm looking forward to having someone to travel with again - Anna! :) So after one month in Turkey... What was my favourite spot, least favourite, and Turkey in general? Well first off Cappadocia was my favourite. I loved the treks, and that you are surrounded by absolutely NOTHING! It was like a desert. Plus the hotels were pretty cool and the town just had a good atmosphere to it. My least favourite would be anywhere on the Aegan Coast. I saved these places until last and it was too touristy and full of scams. Kuşadası was one of the places I'm glad I left and ... read more

(DEUTSCH UNTEN) From Ios to Santorini for the pimpin' overnight ferry to Kos. I checked to a cheap Hotel then I looked for a Scooter to hire for the day. The first guy, I bargainned down 3€ and then he looked at my license and said "oohhh you Australian? No you need different license" as I said "no worries, here's my international license". He flipped through to the Greek translation and said "no. This makes no sense, this - not valid. Sorry. Police make problem for us. Sorry. You cannot. Sorry". After trying to argue he tried to look sad, I got angry and left. He did have a point though. My international drivers license is supposed to have stamps on it - from the journey to Vienna in the rain... Well things got a little ... read more

(DEUTSCH UNTEN) Hello again, I've had a break from kebabs and switched to Gyroses! Yes I'm hopping the Greek Islands and currently on Ios. It's strange, I don't feel like I'm backpacking because everything is running smoothly, no stress, and I found that once a day I'm lying on a beach(one day sleeping there overnight). And even though it might be rocks for sand, it's still relaxing. The only mistake I made was pre-booking a ferry from Marmaris to Rhodes. Why? Becauae I was in Olympos so I had to catch a bus back to Antalya then to Marmaris. All up it was a 7.5hr bus ride. If I had winged it, then I would of found out from the people in Olympos that I could of gone to Fethiye(1.5hr bus ride) then catch a ferry ... read more
