Elliott - Happy Birthday! Soz I have been out of touch, I lost my phone (again) and hence lost all my telephone numbers for everyone! So to Emz, Chloe and all those who sent me cards thankyou very much! ;-) Anyway, fellas, good to hear you will be home soon. It's been incredibly RONERY here in Blighty and I look forward to your tales of death, danger and damsels in distress when you return. Enjoy the next few days. See ya soon!

Anything you like (Elliott - no pizza for you; Jason - no subway for you) - just let us know so we can get it ready for you! Bullet points..... I didn't get insulted by that comment, I agree, I guess it's too late to ask for a bullet point summary again, isn't it? I still just look at the pictures and read every few sentences, it makes it more exciting for me, bub. Hope ur last week ish will be fun. xxx

Looked like an awesome day on the glacier fellas. One thing though Jason - most of your photos only show you from nose to chin since you cover up so much! Have you contracted leprosy or something?! Anyway, you guys rock. Wish I was there with ya. Keep the blogs comin.
In the crack My god it is getting more and more like Brokeback Mountain, no seriously the pictures make it look a fantastic place you are so lucky to be experiencing something like that,i hope you are enjoying it as much as we are enjoying reading about it, im not sure you would get me in a crack like that ooh er !! really proud of you guys keep up the good work x x x
how funny! hey man! when u were in orewa, you were about 5mins round the corner from my mum and dad's place! it's a beautiful beach aye!? a bit of a sleepy town tho!
hey guys make the most of it Hi hit good to see you are having some fun out there the weather here is amazing we had another full day of rain yesterday and I can only hope for more. Not long till you will be heading back so make the most of it. Oh and Jason try bring back a live animal. Should create a wonderful blog whilst trying to get through customs. Have fun hits and keep up this blog been a good read on my lunch breaks
Mountains:-D I think you will have to drag me there to see the mountain ranges you talk of Elliott, they sound fantastic! Shame about the photo's not loading, but your blog gives us a taster of what's in store when you do load the pics:-) Don't know why you had to go all the way to NZ to see whales, we've had a whale beach itself off of hayling Island yesterday. Sadly, our one didn't survive. Very sad. I'm glad Kaikoura lifted your spirits - home sickness can be a terrible burden to bear. Think positively, you two are making the most of, and experiencing, something brilliant which will be with you always. Happy travels is what you will remember.
Can't believe you've been gone for two weeks already...it feels like forever, in fact it almost feels like you were never back Elliott, but it doesn't feel long, thinking that you're already half-way through this year's adventure!
Not much to say but will wish you luck and of course, better weather, on the South Island! Miss you loads... R. x
Kaikoura Crackers Hi folks, still keeping up with your travels and after this particular blog couldn't help myself from sticking "Kaikoura Crackers" into Google to see what sprang up!! Strangely enough, no fancy website from the manufacturers of said pills pops up, but links to several other travel blogs, including a few in German, from other fellow travellers who have purchased said medicine!! You will be pleased to know that your blog also now appears in said search list!! Cheers for now. Chris.
We created this blog so our friends and family back home can see what we're getting up to in our month in New Zealand. This is the furthest either of us have travelled from home before, and the first time either of us has gone on holiday solely with just a friend for company. Follow our trials and tribulations below!
