Photos I will definitely be uploading photos. However, this will probably happen when I get home. Mainly because it takes 2 hours to upload a set of photos (give or take) and in a lot of the hostels internet time is either limited or charged. But I will most definitely upload photos, as I have taken almost 2000 photos in the 5 and a half weeks I've been out
naples It was lovely talking to you last night and hearing you sound so positive and happy. Naples was obviously a big hit. Moving in very international circles - great!!
Freiburg Oh love, this all sounds lovely. You've been so lucky with the weather. It would be entirely different if it was pouring down and cold. Lying in parks & by rivers reading in the sun......how wonderful.
I'll look forward to seeing the photos on the website if you get the cable but even more to looking at them with you when you're home so you can give the commentary.
love you, mum
leaving vienna hi love - sounds as if you've got the self-catering thing cracked. You'll save loads of money & it's probably quite good fun going into local shops to see what you fancy. Make sure you buy some fresh fruit or veg too. Dad said you hadn't done any book swaps yet - I thought you'd have been desperate for new reads but maybe you haven't got through your books as fast as you expected. It was good that you could use the hostel even though you'd checked out. Hope the bus journey's not too tedious and that you manage to get some sleep. Having something with you for breakfast's a good idea. Do you know where to head for when you get off? Any ideas for what to do in Munich (other than drink beer of course). Dad went past Clinton's today - they're still advertising for temp Sat job and temp 10 flexible hours job. We opened an envelope from them yesterday (hope you don't mind - thought it might be something that needed a response). It was the P60 end of tax year form, the P45 (which I think they would have to give you as you'd officially left) and a payslip thing for £400+
Any luck with finding a hostel in Rome yet? At least you've got some time while you're in Black Forest and Naples so not desperate yet.
Nice that auntie Tracey & Russell Simpson have picked up on your travels from facebook.
lots of love - look forward to reading about Munich xx

ailsa_oconnor@btinternet.com I imagine the spending will slow down a bit. It was probably the right thing to begin with to buy yourself proper lunches etc but simple snacks & picnics would be fine if weather stays good. Anyway, I suppose you can work out the number of weeks your savings will pay for at the current rate & adjust accordingly if you want to.
xx
ailsa_oconnor@btinternet.com Well done for the cycling, walking and swimming - a sort of triathlon!
And all very adventurous given that most people wouldn't have thought about going that far off the beaten track.
xx
ailsa_oconnor@btinternet.com Your descriptions are really good - I can picture you cycling round! What a lovely record to keep of your travels - particularly if you can add photos in due course.
xx
tonight Are you going to the quiz night tonight? Just looked at the hostel's gallery again....which room are you in? Does it have bunks or singles?
Mum
back on the internet Hi love
I couldn't work out how to see the blog late last night (after we'd finally finished working out & ordering the Olympic tickets) but Kate reminded me how before she went to school this morning.
I'm really glad you like Prague & hope you feel you've got long enough to see it. You can always go back to any of the places you're visiting now & spend longer of course. You could treat this as a taster for more travelling in years to come.
Saw your facebook posting about your sore head so presume beer was plentiful last night. Hope you have a good day wondering around.
I'll read all the blogs I've missed later
love you, Mum (can other people see comments - don't want to be too soppy if that's the case!)
