First full day we were woken at 5.00 by a singing bird! Breakfast was a fried egg and frankfurter sausages some warm toast with a smile face on it with some pineapple jam. Yum! Yum! We met 2 people at 10.00 and took a taxi to the Grand place where we saw some temples. We had to borrow some trousers to cover our legs and Nathan decided to put his blue trousers on inside out. On our way out we were collared by a man wanting to take us to his boat for a ride. We bartered a price for four after him asking if Stacy (girl we met) was Jamie's girlfriend! We have now safely arrived in Bangkok and left the snow in England. We had a steady drive up in a big posh merc! Our flight was still running on time until we go on the plane and had a two hour delay as we needed to have our plane de iced before we could take off. Before we know it we had landed got our bags and headed to find a taxi. Ironically we both climbed into a bright pink taxi and was taken to our hotel. After a quick Facebook update we tried to find khaosan road! We got clear directions which were, at the end of the road turn right, go over the river, cross the main road and its your next left.
