Top of the World James well done you 2 - what a fantastic achievement I wonder if you would ever have gone if you knew what trekking you would have to do. Sounds great meeting with the locals and you have obvously been great ambassadors for the UK. well done!
Spanish is not rubbish!! I should have got you speaking some Spanish before you went! You were never keen on language lessons but thought travelling might give you motivation! Nothing wrong with middle-aged teachers either!
But yet again there are things you are doing like dives with sharks that I am glad I only know about after! Bex warned me about the dive - sounds really scarey. Love mum x
Copyright I would like to claim copyright for the Johnny Depp facts featured in James' latest blog. I am the die hard fan and now you have been to his clubn and Dad was practically in the pub with him last year so Mother please dont meet him before I do!!
well done james and babs im glad you enjoyed n z ...the bungy jump looked scary but i knew you would do it and it reminded me of the time you had me take you on the big one at blackpool (only thats nothing compared to n z bungy !)where i only got to enjoy it after 3 or 4 goes!
When do you get to Brisbane? Mate where the hell are you? Are you still in Queensland or have you raced off? Are the dates you originally gave me still valid? Man your blog is way cooler than mine, i wish i could use computers!!

The Drinking Club Sounds like your social life has clicked in again. Great adventures diving and sailing and so much to see and do. Hopefully you stay upright on your 4x4 drive and dont wreck the gearbox. Dont know if you saw the match MU 7 Roma 1 unbelievable! Les
Alright mate Hey mate, I'll be arriving in cairns on 12th. Looks like you're a good way ahead of me at the moment. How far are you travelling down the east coast? You got any plans to get that crowd safety in OZ night out off the ground? I haven't heard from Katie in a while, leading me to think that they might have died in a nasty kangaroo accident.
Hi Hi james - your dad's just been showing me the latest report - looks great - glad to see your having a good time - enjoy yourself ,
take care, glyn.
Mate I could write forever on this stuff, its as condensed as I can get! But just for you
Went travelling - Had a few beers - looked around a bit - few more beers - met lots of people different nationalities - went home.

Am a bit worried by how often the word "dodgy" crops up in your blog! Think it may be best I don't know. It all sounds amazing but I had sympathy for Babs when I read your comment on the kayak trip. I seem to recall I got a bit "emotional" with everyone in a canoe on a river in France and you gave me no sympathy!!
Keep enjoying it, love Mum x
we're watching you! Hi James,
Just want you to know that we obviously enjoy reading Laura's blog but we also enjoy yours and Barbara's too. Between the three of you we get a great picture of your travels!
Wow! Sounds like you're doing so much cool stuff! I went to China Town in London for New Years with my Chinese housemate. I think it must be traditional to have random fireworks, they were going off at 2pm in the afternoon so you couldn't see them.
Is that guy asleep in the "Legend" photo?
Happy New Year What a fantastic time you are all having. Integrating with the locals must be great and they all sound like really nice people. You've seen more of the real world in 3 weeks than most see in a lifetime. Good luck on the bus. Les
Suits Ahoy.. ooooooh looking dapper in suit..
Would not have expected that while on travels..
Sounds like a good bargian and experience..
Sounds like your having fun :) x
You are right I would love Hoi An. Can see where it is on atlas and looks a bit far from an airport for a quick weekend break! but good to have a photo of you looking smart in a suit so that I can send this bit of the blog to grandma! Keep enjoying it, take care, love Mum x
