| 23rd September 2009 Yvonne | Hey - From: Part 10: Brest (Days 22 and 23) I love your blog and your commentary is hilarious! |
| 21st October 2008 dolce vita | .. - From: Part 19: Montenegro (Days 49, 50, 51) well, i have to say you missed 99% of what Montenegro is actually about. Ulcinj and Bar are definitelly the last places on the coast of Montenegro, in the means of tourism/sights. Why the hell you didn't read up about Montenegro before visiting, only 35km up the coast from Bar is Budva, right now officially ranked as a coastal town with the highest number of multi-millioners in the world (yes, it surpassed Monaco in 2007, according to Forbes magazine). Kotor, Bay of Kotor, Perast, Cetinje, Ostrog, Herceg Novi, Lovcen, Durmitor, Tara canyon, .. just have a look online, and see what YOU COMPLETELY MISSED. |
| 8th October 2008 katia | building - From: Part 9: Minsk (Days 19, 20, 21, 22) Just to clarify- the picture you said it might be a opera house- it's actually -circus- still under remodeling. I just returned form Minsk a week ago to Seattle- oh, boy, I am so glad I left that country 15 years ago |
| 30th September 2008 Cessna152 | - From: Part 13: Bucharest (Days 31, 32 and 33) Fascinating account of your travels. I've been paying particular attention because I'm in the process of organising a short trip from Warsaw, onto Minsk and finally Kiev. Not a journey on your scale of course, but Minsk is my number one destination at the moment. Anyway, looking forward to the next insallment. |
| 15th September 2008 Andrew Roach | - From: Part 9: Minsk (Days 19, 20, 21, 22) Here you go Jai: http://www.ancientscripts.com/images/cyrillic.gif Still can't work out what that sign says though. |
| 11th September 2008 Martin | Slag - From: Part 2: Leeuwarden (Days 2 and 3) I didnt know "Sla" was a rude word? Just found the email with the address to this blog so finally taking a look when I should be working. This blog shall be a regular skiving haunt methinks! It has the added bonus that because there is lots of text it even looks like I am doing research! |
| 11th September 2008 Ed Beavan | Cracking stuff Jai - From: Part 9: Minsk (Days 19, 20, 21, 22) Keep up the good work, loving it... |

| 29th August 2008 Jade | Living the dream - From: Part 4: Berlin (Days 5, 6 and 7) So far the dream contains many images of football, semi naked women (From you Jai as Si's eyes are obviously closed...is he bumping into many things?)and beer. Is this one of thoes repetitive dreams? You didn't say how you are getting on with speaking German but you made me laugh loads so keep up the blogging. |
| 21st August 2008 Andrew Roach | - From: Part 4: Berlin (Days 5, 6 and 7) Every Tom, Dick and Harry? Kudos for not going for the lazy Sepp, Dirk unt Rudi line that many bloggers would doubtless go for. |
| 20th August 2008 anonymous | - From: Part 4: Berlin (Days 5, 6 and 7) You foolish brits still have nothing but stupid prejudices about us germans. No prejudice ist that a huge part of the british society consists of the underclass. And the typical sport watched by those is football. Well from a guy who travels europe and instead of wanting to visit its cultural highlights like churches, museums or Castles is going to visit stupid soccer ground nothing else than poor education and prejudieces can be expected. |
| 20th August 2008 Andrew Roach | - From: Part 2: Leeuwarden (Days 2 and 3) Go on Cambuur! By a quirk of fate they're the side I look out for in Holland, due to a Champ game, like yourself. Good to see Sandor van der Heide back - he was in their side on Champ 97/98. No Marius Dijkhuizen? |
| 18th August 2008 Ed Beavan | Great stuff Jai - From: Part 1: Rotterdam (Day 1 & 2) Keep up the good work Jai, the book'll be a cracker. Take care matey... |
| 18th August 2008 Jai Essex | - From: First day You jest surely, bugger I was saving her for when I came back and was going to make an honest woman of her. I hope she seeks pastures new in Krakow |
| 18th August 2008 Andrew Roach | *Insert something snappy and witty here* - From: First day News of your journey has obviously reached Norwich lads - on Friday, Anglia weathergirl Wendy Hurrell has left the station for "Pasture new". Hopefully those pastures will include the world of glamour photography. |
