| 8th October 2005 Andy | Great Pictures... - From: Festivals and Trams I live in SF and enjoyed you're pictures. Glad you like our City. I've always enjoyed the Sea Lions myself...funny thing, they never use to be there until an earthquake, then they showed up. |
| 9th September 2005 pauline | Great views and cabins - From: Around Toronto and Algonquin It's interesting that you compared the multicultural atmosphere of Newtown and Melbourne and in one quick step you went to the wonderful wilderness. Hey, maybe that's an idea we should all strive for in Sydney. a quick hop skip from cosmopolitan living to the lakes, forest, and natural cabins. Love Mum |
| 3rd September 2005 Lynne | - From: Training in the North East You have made great choices about places to see. I love the whale photos but where are the witch photos? |
| 31st August 2005 Ra | Thanks - From: A last few shots of NYC For including the dog photo. Not a pug, but love it anyway. Did you see a movie in the park? Was the Andean group good? Did you stop and listen for hours, like you do when I'm around and I'm trying to move on and keep shopping? Love you, Ra |
| 28th August 2005 Jaguar | Goat is for real - From: Going into the Wild West Hi Lynne and All, Yes the goat is the offical mayor for this town. Not sure of its legal power in making decisions. Typical Americans, I think some private company owns the town and is developing the town as their own private resort. If its done in texas it has to be big. So dont just makeover a hotel, when you can do the town. Grant |
| 27th August 2005 John P | good blog - From: More to be done in NY Your great journal has converted me. I used to complain that the Net has killed the art of letter writing but you have shown it transcends it. Love from us all and see you soon. John. |
| 27th August 2005 Lynne | - From: Half way check point for my head don't change! |
| 27th August 2005 Lynne | - From: Going into the Wild West these are great photos. I didn't even know you can ride a horse - you really look the part. Is the goat an honest mayor or self serving? It's good to know you are having such a great time and seeing so much. |
| 25th August 2005 Kahne | horse riding - From: Going into the Wild West You didn't say you'd been horse riding.... cool!!! Did everything look like it was out of 'road-runner' like I said it would. I reckon the catoons do justice for the desert.. :) |
| 21st August 2005 Kahne | Dudes - From: Half way check point for my head Self analysis rocks! I don't think you should change - I and my friends think you have things sorted. At times perhaps you might seem a little conservative but that's cool. Actually, change as much as you like - but don't change the part that listens. My favourite characteristic of yours is your ability to listen, understand what the basic gist is and give some constructive feedback. It's different to the usual response people give which involves going down a tangent which is slightly related and babling on about what they reckon is the solution. - That's probably what I'm doing right now :) hehe Looking forward to hearing about all the cool places and people when you get back. | 23rd July 2005 Ra | Melbourne - From: Starting Line So, just writing to fill you in on my stay in Melbourne, Australia. It's been great so far! Got a bit of jet lag after my trip from the bedroom to the lounge room to watch TV, but recovered ok after a nap. THe food's not so great as it used to be (used to be stir fries and curries, now it's watery kidney bean/cabbage soup), but I'll adapt. Am missing a certain someone, but that certain someone will be glad to see the list of movies that he won't have to watch with me when he gets back, due to me taking the opportunity now to watch them without him: 1. Khal Nayak 2. The WOnderboys 3. Finding Neverland Love and miss you, Babe |
