Sandy has arrived. Cold 41, rainy, and windy. Were supposed to leave today, but decided not to fight the high winds. Instead, we went to watch them make cheese at Heini's Cheese Chalet and Factory. They were making lacey baby swiss, cheddar, & yogart cheese. We timed our visit perfectly to catch all steps in the process. Afterwards, we tasted all of the different flavors of cheese and some sausage. No need for lunch today. Headed to Walnut Creek to watch the candy making at Coblentz Chocolate Factory. No samples here, so we had to buy our own. By the way, we bought some cheese at Heini's also. Been driving by Boyd and Wurthmann Restaurant for several days.
