Justin and Jennifer's Excellent Adventure
I am traveling to Argentina and Uruguay with my sister Jenn for 24 days. We are both Americans from Seattle. It is my first major trip outside of North America and one of the few for my sister. We both want to be world travelers some day, but we are starting out by learning Spanish and looking for adventure in Argentina! JP Morgan

So we have been here for 4 days now. It is much slower, much more simple and more relaxed than Buenos Aires. For the most part, you only go to the beach, eat and drink and hang out with some funny people. Thre isnt as much of a city to visit. We went to the football Museum and learned how Uruguay won the first ever world cup and about how in 2000, the President of Uruguay called on the U.S. to legallized cocaine so that the black market would go away in this country. Of course, that was not given a response from the U.S. government. We cant upload pictures here because the laptop we got doesnt connect to ther network at all. i have slept like a total of 3 hours since we got here. Constant drinking, water and heat make staying hydrated very hard. Lukily, I am drinking more water than ever before. Any way, he is a video from yesterday. Tonight we go to "la bamba" with our new spanish friends.... read more

(We are having problems with linking pictures, so later today; we will post a link to a picture site) Well it's been a strange 24 hours but already very rewarding. We made it safely to our home. It actually is in a pretty part of town. We are staying with Lucas Kama in Barrio Norte. He works with Hispan Aires (the school Jenn and I will attend on Monday) or is affiliated in some way. IMG_1126.CR2 It is a huge house that it seems to be something they are making into a hostel. For now, only Jenn and I stay here but they are treating us very well.
