Hello! Well, we had a blast this past weekend. We left Manila Friday evening after work, which is Saturday morning local time. It was a 9 hour drive to Banaue where we were staying. The next morning we woke up and headed to Sagada, 3 hours on mountain roads...mostly unpaved. The drive to Banaue wasn't awful because we had a van and a driver. The drive to Sagada, through the mountains in a Jeepney, was miserable. Both Banaue and Sagada are old, poor farming villages. The rice terraces in Banaue are 2000+ years old.
