I'm happy you liked my city - From: First Entry
Hello, I'm a native Hungarian and I live in Budapest. I'm happy you liked our city. About the roadworks - unfortunately they usually happen during the summer, right in the middle of the tourist season. With a good reason, I must tell. Most of the native Hungarians head out of the city during the summer for their well-deserved holiday. Therefore, it is the best season to repair the roads which would be much more difficult during the autumn when everybody goes to work by car. Have a good journey.

What a Stunning Blog - From: Prague Entry 9
What a beautiful virtual scrapebook. It sure beats the table top version, and allows all of us a chance to travel along, if only during a coffee break. Thanks for doing this, and for give us all a chance to vacation with you.

Your blog is making me jealous. Figuring out the local transportation is always a challenge. Once you can get around, order food and go to the bathroom, you're pretty much set aren't you? Looks like the weather is cooperating too. Love, Sheila

Jim, Jan and I have been to all those places and loved them all. Just got back from Prague in October. Highlight is the chapel of the Infant of Prague and of course the Charles Bridge. Next to the Charles Bridge is the main opera house that has eveing chamber music.

I certainly am enjoying your journey with you. The Alaskan word for the day: "potholes". 'Tis the newest way for police to catch drunken drivers as the sober drivers are the ones driving erratically. Happy Trails.

Great pictures and I'm glad you're having a good time. NZ has a very different pace in the smaller towns, doesn't it! Don't forget to see if they have shells on the Kapiti Coast. You and Juanita would really enjoy that... See you when you get back!

Thanks for sharing your adventure! - From: New Zealand without Plans
'Gday Mates! (Or do the Kiwi's use a different greeting than the Aussie's?) Beautiful scenery, and great stories. Makes us long for a return trip to the lands "Down Under". The odd vegitation, animals, birds, the southern night stars being different from we see, and water going down drains in the opposite direction, are just some of what make it such a wonderful part of the world! Enjoy! A home front bit of news... We're thrilled to report that daughter Amy has been accepted at the Carlson School of Mnagaement, at the U of M. Take care and have safe travels! Thanks for including us in this blog. We were in New Zealand 5 years ago and loved it. We only had a week and that was way to short. Spent most of our time on the south island. Would love to go back and your blog is great for us to see. Have fun and keep them coming. PS: Can not believe how big Elizabeth is. We saw her at your home about 4 years ago.
