About the roadworks - unfortunately they usually happen during the summer, right in the middle of the tourist season. With a good reason, I must tell. Most of the native Hungarians head out of the city during the summer for their well-deserved holiday. Therefore, it is the best season to repair the roads which would be much more difficult during the autumn when everybody goes to work by car. Have a good journey. |

Highlight is the chapel of the Infant of Prague and of course the Charles Bridge. Next to the Charles Bridge is the main opera house that has eveing chamber music. |
