Afraid I can't remember the name But we found it in a magazine on hotels in Yufuin - just got a Lawsons clerk to help us find it. I think they're all probably pretty good there though. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
Your pictures are really really good I must admit. I couldnt read it all, but i read the last paragraph and was a little bit moved. However, I couldn't help but snigger at the bit where you said you 'had more than a lump in your throat'. Childish.
I want to come on the cycling extravaganza.
Rock on! Nick! Heeeeyy!! I just finally got around to reading your blogs from leaving Kamijima-chou till now. Amazing! Looks like you are having the best time! It definitely made me nostalgic and a little jealous reading your blogs and remembering the feeling of traveling and just being in a foreign culture. More power to you! And I wish you a safe and fun-filled trip back to the U.K.!
powerful stuff buddy. I enjoyed reliving the memories.
I am now in La France making guttural pig noises and passing it off as La Francais. I often imagine how much time you would spend speaking dans l'accent Francais if you were here. Oh les japes tres annoying.
I hope all is well wherever you are.
good one. it took me three seperate sessions to finish it. An epic blog. I have just relived the journey and infact was a bit sad that the miyazaki bit was cut short as i could have dwelled on that a bit longer.

ÐKWD A bit off topic but man...
I was just looking through the old Osaka pictures and I have to admit, it was pretty ÐKWD.
That was a wicked summer. I wish that we could live it over all again.
Why am I leaving Japan??
Oh Nicholas, how I would have loved to have seen something like this. It makes me long to be back there. "Shouldering the past" a wonderful tiltle and an amazing photo!
Tondo of a Time Nice one Chaz, you're still on here! I thought everything had been privatized.
Where is the obligatory pic of you and your semi-handicap running friend?
Good one. You had me really badly giggling at my desk. In fact, I dont think it looked too good as I have only just gotten into work and am already sitting at the computer giggling.
I might have to print a copy of your blog off for my own diary. I dont have a diary, but if I did, then thats what i would do.
Get a bike and lets cycling.
after after party After you returned home from the afterparty you had so little to do with your drunken self that you called me for about an hour talking about buying 'the flying croissant' which is i understand to be your new touring bike.
Adventures Well yound men...what adventures you have been having...some really good photos and great writing (a usual). I love your blogs...they must be the only ones I have ever read and continue to read of any I have ever received!
Go on....!

Typhoon tea But where were the cups and saucers? Didn't realise your fridge could hold so many beers. I'm sure mukades make excellent bait for the toilet duck...
These blogs just get better and better!
