Salut les chéris - From:

question + love the pics! - From: Pictures of Africa
Hi Joanna, It's cindy collins from your previous place of employment (must seem a world away, now!)... I just wanted to say I love reading your blog, thank you for posting all these interesting stories. You rock!!! Also, I wanted to send something for the kids, but then I thought it might be easier to contribute money toward your charity funds, that way you can buy whatever they need most (or heavy things like paper, that are hard to ship) - is there someone I could send a check to, that could deposit it into your account? (My e-mail is cynthiac@(work)). You go, girl!!! :o) cindy (btw let us know if you want us to send you some mosquito repellant...)

Just so you remember me I will say "How are youuuuuuuu?" in my best scottish accent. John Davies showed me your blog and I will watch your progress closely. I think this is a really great thing you are doing. I hope to muster the courage to do something similar in my lifetime.

OMG - From: Disgusting frogs and even more disgusting food
Yum yum - I am really hungering after Ugali. Must remember to make some for the family - maybe after the graduation next week. I am cooking fish, chips and veggies just now - which would I like - Hmmm? Think about it. As for frogs in the socks - that beats lizards on the arm I reckon. I bet there was much shreiking and mayhem at that one. You sound like you are really working very hard - I hope you are taking care of yourself as well. Have a great time at the lodge - I am so envious. I keep looking art flights tpo see if I can get out again before you leave but they are so expensive it s not going to happen. Mike back now so will go and eat the DINNER. Love to all H

An Acknowledgement - From: "I had a farm in Africa"
I just want to say that I would like to acknowledge the generosity of all our friends and colleagues who donated money and items towards supporting this project as well as others. I think that it is important that people not directly connected with what is happening in Tanzania feel that their part, however small, is recognised and valued. So thanks everyone and I look forward to hearing about the grand opening

How's the mad house? - From: Take the vegetarian to the moon
How are things in the place of the sheep and the bulls that fight. We are really missing all the BB action - it seems very quiet back here in wet UK. Trying to sort out pix at the moment. Have been in touch with Mariah about all the happenings and weird outs in the house. How is the health of everyone???????? Is Lisa still spotty? Can't shift the rotton cold I came home with - which snotty individual passed it to me I wonder? Plenty to choose from I reckon. How are the new volunteers getting on at Faraja. Do tell them to contact us if they need any help or suggestions. Would love to hear how things are, especially with Luta. Still looking into how best to sponsor him safely - that the money goes to him and not into someone else's pocket. Problem to be sorted. Write soon. Take care. Love to al. Helen

Hi Joanna, HAKUNA MATATA (don't worry.... be happy). I think what you are doing is really cool...and thank you so much for the stories and photos. Just out of curiosity....does Paulo or Sammy wear sandles made made out of car tires??? If you get a chance, try to get to Dar and get the ferry to Zanzibar......it's got the best beaches at the north of the island...just a cab fare from StoneTown. Good luck John (the kiwi) from San Diego.
