We left Singapore on Saturday morning on a luxury coach. The seats were like those in the first class section of a plane. We are in Singapore at the minute and when we leave on Saturday we are going to Malaysia for 10 days. We flew to Calcutta now called Kolkata on Saturday morning 2 hour flight and spent a few hours around the city. The poverty was very obvious even compared to where we are in South India. This week has been very eventful as we have been leading up to the graduation. Wednesday was our final studying day in class and on Thursday we had a rehearsal for the Graduation. Woo hoo Had memory verse test yesterday and sermons being handed in next week so we can now relax. Harvest runs an orphanage for tsunami orphans next door to the house we are in. Just a quick update Yesterday we had a day off and took the scooter to Mahaburalebrum Irsquove no idea how to spell that which is about 40Km away. Itrsquos outside the city and we travelled along the coast for an hour or two. We have had a really great week in class we were studying an overview of the old and new testament on Monday Thursday then on Friday we were learning about Christian meditation meditating on the bible. This week we have been given a crash course into how to study the bible in depth. Thursday and Friday will be how to present a message well. We have really enjoyed it this week. Its great getting to know other Christians from a completely different culture. Here is an idea of our daily routine. The room is air conditioned which is great and they also have numerous fans on the ceiling so there is no problem with us over heating. Iyyappan held a wedding reception for us with all the children and staff at the orphanage.
