Our day has consisted of a lot fo travel and a 7 hour time change so we are heading to bed soon. We were looking to head to a town called Monte Carlo which sounded like the gateway to several vineyards in the hills. We had reserved another night at a hostel in Florence although this one is much different than the one in Roma. More of a college dorm feel. Starting at the museum we walked and walked and walked until we ended up back at our hostel. I am guessing 78 miles is a conservative estimate. Both of us were very nervous to get to Italy due to the language differences. However we quickly adjusted and realized that pointing and nodding has no language barriers. We spent the day up at the Blue Lagoon a sheltered inlet at the north of Malta that has crystal blue waters and tiny private sand beaches.
