Eighty Mile Beach You are going to have a great time at the 80mile! Most sociable camp and best trees on the coast. Make sure you have a cup of chino at the shop - it's pretty good. Envy your trip to Leveque, next time will get there :)
Good to see you are "doing it tough!". Sounds like a wonderful trip. I'm so jealous.
Am thoroughly enjoying your journal entries.... thanks heaps - wish I was with you to enjoy the big country.
Take care
Really enjoying the trip with you both Really enjoying the comments and the photos. I am printing it off and sending it to your Grandma Bruce and she is enjoying if very much too.
Great Read this is fantastic reading guys. I am so jealous! It is only about 10 degrees here and even colder at night. Great photo's too. Keep it coming and drive safe
We missed you! Hi guys, we have arrived Kunnnnannnurra today (8/6) just off the Gibb River Road. You will be sorry you washed that camper! You'll have to do it again at Derby! Have fun on the GRR. See you back in the big smoke :)
Bruce, take the wildlife off your face. We're thouroughly enjoying living this trip vicariously through the Hore's eyes and words (never thought I'd admit to that). Keep writing and come back safely. Appreciate seeing more photo's added.
Hey Amanda and Bruce, keep up the blogging, very interesting reading. Could do with some amusing commentary on any arguments you might be having though - always a memorable part of any road trip ;-)
Great blog guys Good to hear you are on your way! May catch you in the Kimberley. We are seriously considering the Gibb River Road but need to check conditions before the end of the month as we are hearing a lot of rain has fallen. We may pass you if you take the main road. Keep in touch and we will try to rendezvous!! Mike and Steph Walters.....also - Crawf, if you read this - our blog is Walters Family at same address- Cheers!
Great pics Wow guys, great photos. Looks like some spectacular scenery. Hope you're enjoying yourself despite the mishaps. Glad to see the cap getting a gig!
Love the Dinosaur sign :-) Hi Guys,
Sounds like you are having a great time - despite your little problems.
The photos at Simpson's Gap are identical to ones I took back in June 2005 !! There was no water there then either.
Keep the entries coming
Cheers
Steve
