It's too bad you weren't in Dublin for St. Paddy's Day. That would have been something. Or is that something like Groundhog Day here?
What's your next country?
Wish I was there :)
Like Nat Geo Holly - Thanks for taking the time to post. What an interesting account of Morocco. Love your photos, like reading National Geographic.

Giant men? Chefchouen protests? African sickness? Oh my. I imagine your parents are beginning to get more than a little nervous now. Think of what an experienced tour guide you'll be for them when they arrive later :)
You can tell Connor he is officially my hero now.
Stay safe and keep the stories coming.

American, I think. I love apple pie. Carissa will be excited that you're visiting Seville. She loved Seville more than Barca.
Should we be worried about your visit to Morocco? I mean, your adventures are starting to increase from gypsies and anti-american rants to visiting countries that want to overthrow their monarchy?! I think the US Embassy is in Rabat, in case you need to know :)
Enjoying your blog Holly - I have enjoyed reading your most recent posts sent by way of Auntie Dine to your grandmother to Lori to me. Brian sent me the link so I can now tune in on my own. Your accounts and photos are great. I have read with particular interest about your visits to Paris and Rome, as Lori and I are hoping to get to these places this fall. We will want to pick your brain when you return (especially about the good pizza place you found). Stay safe in Morocco!
Nick
You're ruined for life You can't come back to the states and eat what we call pizza here any longer. I think it is a crime for them to call it pizza and think we should pass a law to rename it some circular food item ;) Good luck with eating pizza for the rest of of your life :)
Love, love, love your stories and writing and photos. xxoo
Virtural Tourism Thanks for the photos and narrative. I am awed, never having looked at history or art books. Virtual tourism supplemented with Wikipedia works well except for the pizza photo with mozzarella, olive oil, basil, and tomatoes. Oh, that looked good!

Hi from Homer Hi Holly-Sounds like you are having a blast. bruce and i were in Barcelona about 5 yrs ago and loved it. You must go to the symphony house? The entire ceiling is stained glass-one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I remember the gaudi architecture was unreal! We also took a bus north of Barcelona about 2 hrs or so on the beach-can't remember the name of the town but it was on a halfmoon shaed beach with a castle on top of a hill at one end. Lots of scuba divers-great restaurants, etc. Sorry we missed you all at xmas-we were in Boulder.
Have fun,
Kathy
Gypsies and mad Parisians, oh my It's official now. I'm living vicariously through your travels :) Loving your travel notes and your photos. Been meaning to ask you again, what kind of camera you have. Love the little remote that I see in your hand for group shots.
And isn't it great being a "foodie"? Carissa and I just got back from a weekend in Napa/Sonoma. We had "little plates" most places we stopped at and loved, loved, loved the food. And we stayed at the very posh Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn. It was a spa weekend for us.

Just WOW! All the places I've heard of but never saw. . .
Don't forget to tell your buddies that I saw Jim Morrison live in concert. Don't get tired of site seeing before we get there. . ..
perfectly accurate.. You consistently do a fantastic job compiling this experience into clear, flowing compositions. Your thoughts are intriguing, insightful and inspiring. Me siento suerte de tener una chica increíble. :)
Are we there yet? Your blog post is inspirational. New places, new faces. I love it when everything is new! Of course, I'm multi-tasking while I'm writing this--I'm on my laptop, watching tv, and waiting for my email to ping while I wait for that letter that I have to get tonite--- all the while I'm juggling with tomorrow's schedule in my head. So I promise to take a long walk tomorrow and maybe head in a new direction (the sun came back today). I bought a new book, "60 Hikes Within 60 Miles". Jim and I promised that we would do a new one every month.
Enjoy your cafe con leche and your weekend adventures. And every moment in-between.

I'm already wishing I had your passport.
And I'm really curious how you got the jersey of one of the most popular players of their, apparently beloved, futbol team?!

Great photos! Hi Holly,
It is so much fun to read about your experiences so far, and to see the photos. It's almost like being there! So are all of your room mates American students? Love you, Jocelyn
Impressed Certainly enjoyed the recently posted pics. You're experiencing so much - I'm envious. Morocco, Ireland, Switzerland. You have to take me back to some of those places when we're there. Keep up the blog work; I'm looking forward to the next one already. Go experience it and be safe. Love pop
Estar bien de salud! Hola Holly!
I appreciate your blogging efforts. It is nice to experience Barcelona, and more, vicariously. I have subscribed to your blog and look forward to updates.

Holly,
Great to read your words, and hear the wonder in your voice. Awesome! I had to Google the Sagrada Familia--Wow! I didn't even know it existed. I love that you have a balcony, and there are cafes right there! So urban, so delightful.
Oh love, it sounds wonderful! I am so proud of you and Connor for taking this trip! I got your socks when I got back, they are the bomb! haha Thank you so much! When I come to Homer this summer we can wear them together (: I love Love Love you baby girl! Miss you like crazy!
Great to see you have enough time to write this blog. It's wonderful to hear your experience so far has been so exciting. I'm so happy for you. Wow! What you describe so far makes me want to jump on a plane and come visit. But I won't and can't!!! Love, Elaine
I'm living in Barcelona for the next three months, learning a bit of Spanish, fitting into another culture, and grabbing as many opportunities as possible to see the rest of Europe. ... full info
