| 27th October 2007 Mike and Joyce | World Class Travelers - From: The many roads to Marrakech Well, you two certainly have become that....World Class Travelers that is. Good on ya both. The stories and pics are amazing, as is the fact you are actually experiencing all this as we speak. The blog site is terrific, wish we had known about it during our recent trip. Keep em coming, and say hi to all at P and P's place. |
| 25th October 2007 martin | Marrakech Express - From: A photo is worth a thousand words Wow... great pics. They really bring back memories of our trip there. The Tannery / Volubulis / spice stalls. So cool. Makes we want to plan another trip there and head back. I hope that you survived a chilly night in the desert! Did you check your shoes for scorpions in the morning!! Did Don stop to buy any fossils on that drive over the High Atlas. Perhaps you will spend your whole time in Marrakech lost in the medina... and we won't hear from you until Essaouira. Yikes!! The UK is just around the corner... exciting and sad.... as the 'culture shock' will be gone.... as will the warm weather. love m |
| 22nd October 2007 Christian | - From: A photo is worth a thousand words Beautiful pictures... Love the matching Tilleys! |
| 21st October 2007 Diane Haigh | - From: Winding down in windy Tarifa Hi DiDo, These travel blogs are brilliant and I have just realized, after reading the family comments, that I can reply. So glad you are having a good time. Spain is special. We got the bronze medal in Calgary!! The chorus is sooo excited. Today is Sunday, our walking day, with liquid sunshine, so lucky you basking in real sunshine sipping coffee on outside patios. Looking foward to your Morocco adventures. |
| 16th October 2007 martin | 'Maroc Typique' - From: Winding down in windy Tarifa hmmm.... so perhaps by now you have bought your first carpet... fought off your first vendor.... eaten your first tajine... wandered your first souk... sampled your first mint tea....and heard your first call to prayer. Ramadan has just come to an end... so the locals will be a bit more relaxed... lass uptight... and well fed by the time you arrive. I just hope that you love Morocco as much as we did. Spain will be tough to beat, but Morocco is a different world. Keep having fun. love m |
| 12th October 2007 martin | feeling hot hot hot - From: Caliente! Caliente! Caliente! Once again I an green with envy.... and hungry this time too!! Even though the sun is shining right now, I could sure use a dose of those 30 degree days!! Seville.... indeed one could spend a week. Well, you just have to go back one day. Sounds like a few days of rest will be needed before you cross over to the dark continent of 'Afreaka'. Remember... don't linger in Tangiers. Time for a 't & p'.. then move on. |

| 7th October 2007 martin | anything beats the rain - From: A complete change of pace Even a boring drive through Malaga is better than a rainy Saturday here. Eatin' the bird with A&K tomorrow night... and dreaming of olive groves in Spain. Keep having fun... and we love the blogs. x m |
