As I write, in various homes around the Ashford area there will be rucksacks, boots, sleeping bags and all sorts of garments being prepared for our departure tomorrow... After nearly two years of preparation it is time for us to embark on this fantastic adventure! There have been endless discussions about what we are taking and how much we really need but I think we are all ready to go and, quite frankly, if we haven'y got anything by now, then it's too late and we probably don't need it anyway! My bag is now packed and ready to be unpacked and repacked with the addition of a tent at the Final Preparation Day tomorrow. Just hope I haven't forgotten anything.... Miss Bennett... read more
