Words from Lydia: Today we left from New Dehli to Hyderbad in a plane. We had to wake up at 3 in the morning. We got a tour from a taxi driver. Another Amazing Enrty by: NAM DUNBAR Today seemed sooo much longer than yesterday. This is what we did today... 1) k so first went to some church kinda place outside. We had to take off our shoes. my mom being the way she is gives this guy way more money than she shouldve. he was asking for 100 rupees each person and she just said "ok" u r supposed to haggle with them. Man do i see some weird things. this is what i see... -people peeing on walls, seems to be a normle act here. -dogs running around, kinda surprise they dont get hit by the cars and bikes. -CRAZZYYY driving. i've only seen maybe 3 stop lights. Its so crowded on the streets. Imagine the beginning of a marathon race. its sorta like that, except its with cars. We've been in Spain for three days and so far, so good. Weather has been picture perfect and we are enjoying the wonder and glamour of old Europe. Did the double-decker bus tour the first day and saw some bull fights that night. To us Westerners, it's a rather odd mix of pagentry and brutal violence, but it is the culture. Visited the town of Toledo yesterday (30 minutes away by train). We are finally off! Because of the cancelled flights discovered on Tuesday, we have been e-mailing and phoning our travel agent for three days and didn't get the final details nailed down until this morning. I just want to thank Eugenia and Daniel at Airtreks for making the extra effort to get this all straightened out before we left. Thanks guys. The net gain is now we have to spend one night in Bangkok, Thailand in between Sri Lanka and Vietnam. Good thing we all love Thai food.
