Oh The Places We Went...!
Oh what a great day we had!! I always have soooo much fun with you Heather & I can't believe you were able to remember all those details!! Reading about everything we did... it all came back to me!! ( I have no memory!) EVERYONE... you have to see the Cultural Center, it is so beautiful, words ( and pictures) cannot describe!! Heather, you are amazing & such a treasure. I took pictures that day too, but I don't understand why mine don't look like yours!!??? I guess it's true that it takes someone with a special "eye" to communicate the beauty seen, thru a camera lens for the rest of us to experience! LOVE YOU TONS!! THANKS FOR THE FUN!!

Oh, he does have a huge memorial. There's a large sculpture of a woman, called "Memory." It's designed by the same guy who designed the Lincoln Memorial, Daniel Chester French.

Yep, it is the same family. I never knew they had a brewery. It was pretty big, too! The mausoleum itself is pretty unique- i don't know if you can tell from this picture, but besides the pyramid shape, there's an Egyptian sphinx on one side of the door and an angel on the other. the door handle leading into the mausoleum has a snake on the handle. It's one of the more interesting tombs at Graceland

Always lots of photos!
I'm always so happy to host your friends. Claudine was so much fun and I loved learning about life in Quebec!! I was thrilled when she asked if she could stay for the "annual" Karaoke Party. You both were quite busy, but we did get some visiting time with her.
