Happy Traveler

Hi all. My wife and I are excited to be traveling to India for our first time, but are having a difficult time deciding which three week window to travel in (1) early to late May or (2) late June to mid July. I guess it comes down to hot or rainy from what I read so far. We're still working on an itinerary, but highlights we want to see include Dehli, Agra, Varanisi, Khajuraho and a side trip to Nepal. If time (and weather) permit, we're thinking of doing an elephant safari or overnight camel trip too.
