Great to hear from you! Hi Pat,
I'm so pleased to hear from you again and you're on you way back to Africa. I must admit I'm a bit envious. I love Africa and have never been to Zimbabwe or Zambia. I returned in December from Rwanda and Uganda. I was on a Goriila and Chimp Trek and I must admit amazed myself. At 73 I was certainly one of the oldest in my group. It was also life altering for me. These two countries wee certainly much less developed than the other two countries in Africa I had visited and the children were fascinated with this "white" lady travelling through their villages. While there I was able to visit one of their schools and an amazing hospital to which the locals travelled at times 50 plus Kms for care but they were doing wonderful things for women and trying to offer support and education to women and families re personal and family care.
How proud you must be of all of your accomplishments. I love seeing your picture with your vibrant red blazer. I remember how pleased you were when you had it made in Hong Kong and how it seemed to me a talsman for the direction you were taking with your new start in life.
Looking forward to following your trip. All the best.

How impressed am I!!!!! Hi Pat,
I really enjoyed your blogs about your trip. How fabulous that your group went to share ideas about entrepreneurship with the ladies in Zimbabwe. i have enjoyed the many concerts I've attended here supporting Grandmothers for Grandmothers in Africa.
I'm impressed with your pictures of you with the elephants - remember our experience in Kenya - we weren't sure they were going to let us off the road and I remember how much you enjoyed????? the camels in Dubai. As for eating caterpillars, you're much braver than I.
Congrats on your journey and your accomplishments there.

Outstanding!! Pat, these have been wonderful pictures and of course, a fascinating write up on your time in what is really "another world" for us! Thank you for letting us be a part of your experiences! It has been such a treat and we are so proud of you and what you have done! Congratulations and feel proud of yourself!! You have given pleasure to many people.. here and there!! Love from us both. Diane and Jo Love
Thanks for sharing! What a wonderful experience you are having and how humbling it is to learn how these women are overcoming the odds to make a better life for themselves and their families. Thinking of you on Canada Day ... we are so blessed to live in this country. Safe travels!
What an Amazing Adventure!! You make us feel like we are there with you! Can't wait to read about all the stories that came out. Very inspiring I'm sure!
So much fun... :-) You sems to have so much fun Pat! You are a beacon light to me :-) When you'll return, please tell me about your shopping experience in Johannesburg.
For the spray in the airplain, I heard that they do this in certain countries to prevent things like maleria, etc.
Inspiring! Hi Pat, Myself in the world of "passive" business by myself, I truly understand the struggle to get started! Micro-financing is something I strongly consider to be involved with in my future career (dream of becoming a philanthropist)... Thanks for sharing! Keep it up!
I love your blog! Well, Pat I feel like I'm right there with you, what a journey and it has just begun. I'm here at Pigeon Lake and enjoying your travels, I will not be missing your blogs. Have a great trip!
Isn't that awesome how everything works out perfectly in the end? That's quite the airport story. Lots of lessons to be learned there I think, most of which is to be able to be happy and go with the flow (something you do amazingly well :)
Have a lot of fun. Sounds incredible!
glass half full Pat,
You are the only woman i know who could have such a nightmarish first few days between weather and travel and have a good attitude. That is one of the reasons you are such a success....Can't wait to log into FB and check out the pictures. Safe travels....( did you hear Cheryl Burke is the next Bachelorette....Classic.) xo
YAY! Finally some good reading. Can't wait to share the rest of this adventure with you. So many lessons before you even left North America. I love when you travel!
I can relate! Hi Pat...I've only been to Vegas once too (years ago with my ex - Chuck). We did the helicopter ride into the Grand Canyon - phenomenal!!! Funny you mention the headphones - the other couple in our copter was a man, and a blonde woman with huge boobs. Chuck kept calling her Dolly, not realizing that everyone else could hear what the others were saying!
What a great trip! I love your blog, you do it so well. Hi Pat
It's always fun "traveling along" with you, it makes me want to get on a plane and head out to see the grand canyon, it's on my bucket list. Take care
Withdrawal You were right, I was having withdrawal - I can't wait to follow the World Tour 2012. You make everyone feel like they are right there enjoying it with you!! If you need any help with the Picture Keeper, just let me know! Thanks Pat!!

If, on the other hand, you do want to follow - I'm excited.
