After a week in this city we've found a apartment we're we can stay for free (at least until they turn of the electricity..), our calender is fully booked with meetings with people and organization concerning our project, poetry in the kitchen/numan activities, demonstrations, soupkitchens, vegan coffeeshops, fancy dumpsterdiving, concerts, bookstores, parks and nice people to hang out with..! I'm really happy about it and glad that we can stay at the same place for a longer period of time, not having to constantly spend energy on finding places to stay nor travel from one place to the other f [View Full Entry]

Our stay in Japan started out quite badly: everything was really expensive and we had no where to stay. After finnally finding a place to stay, it turned out that our host was really strange... not dangerous, not rude - simply just strange... thats why we spent a lot of time and effort in front of the computer finding places to stay - and after a while we were lucky, met nice people and started to be able to see a bit of Japan... experiences until now: Hiroshima - Abomb museum and peace memorial (2 times) - Mya...?! a nice big [View Full Entry]

First of all Hiroshima. To walk around in the area where the bomb hit the ground felt so surreal, it was (and still is) impossible to fully take in and picture what really happened there. Though the total madness with nuclear bombs became crystal clear, especially after a visit to the Peace memorial museum. And to think that some people want Japan to start develop their own?! Then Kyoto, at first we got a bad impression, are all the Japanese people this strange?! and where exactly are those beautiful places Kyoto is so known of? ...tiden bara flyger ivag! jag forstar inte vart dagarna tar vagen, snart har vi varit tva veckor i Japan redan..?! Shimonoseki, Hiroshima och Kyoto har vi hunnit med - nu ar vi pa snabbvisit i Osaka for att besoka manniskoratts-museumet, och sen drar vi vidare till Tokyo for att borja gora vart projekt. Nu ar det dags for mig att ga och sova, en annan dag far det bli ett langre inlagg och kanske ocksa lite bilder... I simply dont understand where the time is going...? Egentligen ar vi i Japan nu, kom imorse!, pa ett bizarrt "internethotell" dar man kan vara uppkopplad, dricka gratisdrinkar o lasa manga (darav namnet "Manga Kissa") hela natten, om man sa vill. Vi tankte sova har i natt (o passa pa o maila lite) som vi inte har nan annanstans att bo for natten o det har var det billigaste alternativet. Men ja, Sydkorea skulle det handla om fore jag glommer bort vad vi egentligen gjorde dar. Fast jag maste saga att jag aven under sjalva resan undrade vad vi hade dar att gora. Kanske var det för att vi tillbringade så kort tid i syd-Korea som det känns som att jag knappt varit där... Det gav inga riktigt bestående intryck, eller så har de inte hunnit etsa sig fast i minnet ännu?! På mindre än två veckor hann vi ändå ta oss genom nästan hela landet, tillbringa 5 dagar i Seoul, några dagar i en nationalpark, och några dagar vid havet. Dessutom hann vi se en "highwire competition", en tävling där en massa olika männiksor från olika länder tävlar i vem som kan gå snabbast över floden Han (en mycket bred flod!) - på [View Full Entry]
