Just quicklyWe are now back from our trip.... been back a week already and still it feels rather strangeWe finished our time away with a trek in Chiang Mai followed by some time out in the city and a night in a rather posh hotel in BangkokI am almost finished making sense of the 1500 photos we managed to take..... so at some point they will be up on facebook or in an album for you to have http://www.travelblog.org/Europe/United-Kingdom/England/Berkshire/Maidenhead/blog-309011.html The last 3 weeks..... HelloWe havent writen for a while as we have been really busy so i shall attempt a quick update from the last few weeksOur Mekong River trip was really good we saw lots of little islands got free fruit tried snake and banana wine why they call it wine i dont know i could have fuelled my car with it and even went to a crocodile farmWe then took the slow boat to Phnom Penn in Cambodia http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/North-West-Thailand/Chiang-Mai/blog-300333.html 3.5 weeks to go.... We are emailing from the country of Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City formally known as Saigon We flew in yesterday... after a quick stay on Ko Phangnan. We found ourselves staying at Highlife Bungalows on Ko Phangnan after our planned guest house was full. After Krabi we got a long tail boat to Railey which is on the coast the day we arrived it was seriously hot and the beaches and sea looked awesome the sun was however very short lived and for the next three days we had monsoon rains at about 3pm everyday So we settled on amusing ourselves with thai massages and dodgy movies in our beach bungalow We http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Thailand/South-West-Thailand/Ko-Samui/blog-287968.html Travels so far... Currently sat at our guest house in Krabi very sweaty..... with our scooter parked outside Just returned from Tiger Caves and temple. Its best reached by scooter much to Adams delight understatement for 24 hours rental we paid 200 baht around 3 pound and the full tank of petrol was 100 baht just under 2 quid.
