Thank you Thank you for expressing your thoughts so beautifully that we could feel we were there with you. I have read every word avidly - you paint a picture with your words.
I feel so sorry for all your Japanese friends and the trauma they have suffered - they sound such wonderful people. I am very, very, glad, though, that you are safely on your way home to us. xx
Inspired writing It is both instructional and a delight to read your blog. Your style is extremely vivid and draws the reader right into the centre of the picture in a way that few writers achieve. I think you may have found yourself a new vocation.
Take care.

MOVING I've just read your blog. It was beautifully written and a wonderful insight into Japanese culture. We are no longer hearing much about what is going on in Japan, and it is good to hear your first hand accounts and views. Thankyou for your insight.
Terrifying! Oh my goodness, this sounds absolutely terrifying! I am so glad you are not injured. I definitely could not have coped with your 'angry beast'. Your poor Japanese friends - they have had weeks of stress like this. We keep thinking of you. Lots of love xxxx.
Hi,
I am Rose Anderson.
I have found your site not so long ago, but try to read every new article as i see your
site as one of those interesting places online (it's not such an usual case nowadays).
This week i had an interesting discussion about (http://www.travelblog.org/Asia/Japan/Tokyo/blog-592697.html) with my colleagues and i'm
going to write about it. Your site looks a perfect place for an article on this topic.
So if you would like that, it would be great if you could post it on your site.
And that's absolutely free of cause.
Let me know here roseanderson26@gmail.com if you are interested.
Regards
Rose Anderson
wonderful journey! Chrissy,
Thank you for keeping up this travel blog. I feel as if I am there with you; your descriptions of places you are visiting and reflections of past visits help me visualize a part of the world I will never have the opportunity to see.
I look forward to your next post!
Love,
Michele
Hugely enjoyable and moving Wow, exquisitely written, a real pleasure to read. And so important and refreshing to read about the horrendous after effects of the earthquake put into a broader context of how it is impacting on the indigenous population from their perspective as opposed to a reporter flying in for a brief snapshot (all too often focussed only on the nuclear aspect) and how such an impact needs to take into account the different culture of Japanese society compared with a western one. The quiet dignity of the Japanese is so impressive and indeed, inspiring. So thank you for taking the time to record your thoughts and observations so beautifully. Richard
Beautifully written This is so beautifully observed and written, it makes me feel I was there. I am so sad that we were not able to be there with you. xx
