Hi gus, Am enjoying reading your travelblogs - we did an overland trip from Cairo - Istanbul with Kumuka a couple of months ago so we went to most of the same amazing places. I'm not really sure if travelblog will alert you after I leave this note. So it might be that you'll never know about this note. Anyway, I just noticed your "Moses" post (nice pics!), then read on your profile that you're taking a one year sabbatical traveling around the world. Out of curiosity, I checked on your first blogs, and voila! what a great surprise to see you chose Guate as your first place to visit. Even more glad to see you chose the "Arco" as your featured Antigua photo (my family owns a property in that street, nearby the Arch, so the Arch is like part of the family). I have no choice but to subscribe to your entries. :) Enjoy your trip -ac

i was surfing the web studing for my next trip to Machupichu ,peru and seen your last travel blog of petra . its a place i would like to go some day . how did you find petra, Jordan for traveling. such as saftey and dificulty in getting around ? http://www.travelblog.org/Bloggers/bcfirefighter/ also wow is your trip ever cool i looked at all the places you have been and that shurly is something you will never forget . good luck on your travels and take care

Looks like fun. Coming down towards UAE anytime soon? If ur are don't forget to stop by at Liwa- An oasis in the World's largest sand desert The Empty Quarter and Al Ain. Ofcourse Dubai, they are building the tallest tower in the world here, Burj Dubai, so u can see history in the making.... or rising. See u on the road.

We're just now in the last few weeks of a 16 month trip and our time in Syria is one of the highlights. The people there were so unconditionally warm and friendly that we can't speak highly enough of vacationing there. Unfortunately, we popped into the Hotel Baron bar, too (wanting to feel a little like an early explorer) but it was deader than heaven on a Saturday night.

As part of my Master's Thesis, I am researching the concept of travelblogging and moblogging in the hopes of constructing a unique service geared toward the moblogger/travelblogger's distinct community.
