Dreaming in time
Gus, i have had the opportunity to go to Kakadu, and wondered in amazement with a stare across the plains to Arnhem land. Thank you for reinforcing my thoughts on what is a beautiful place made up of beautiful people. We have so much to learn from these gifted people.

Trip to Iran
Nice site; great pictures. I went on the same route as you in 2009 and then went to Yazd, Isfahan and Tehran. 8 of us in a group but only me (English) and 2 Americans were fingerprinted. Ozzies and kiwis were not. What did you think of the people? I found them so very very friendly and generous. Waves, greetings, bear hugs, bread, apples and fruit.

Slight Error.
I might be mistaken but the dish you labeled as "Banh Bao" is actually "Banh Bot Loc".

on the road again
Even though you're already well into your journey I just wanted to say it's good to see you on the road again! I can't believe it's been over a year since I stopped receiving your travelblogs that I had so grown accustomed to reading during your mammoth journey. Happy travels!
