| 7th April 2008 Mark | Keep it up! - From: Paris Pekin 27-31 March 2008 Congrats on the first 500km or so, hope it's not too wearing. But yourself a noce veggie-beer to celebrate with at 1000km! BTW, if events over here are anything to go by, I'd avoid Olympic Torch routes if I were you! Best of luck, Mark |
| 7th April 2008 Mark | Bloody Brilliant - From: Paris Pekin 27-31 March 2008 Like buses, nothing for ages and then four come along at once! Great to hear how the expedition is going and your commentary is very full with great anecdotes. What comes across to me is poor vegetarian food (if there is an alternative) and damn cold weather interspersed with some splendid views. Not quite sure what to make of your fellow travellers We had two inches of snow here yesterday in the south east of England and the temperature is ten degrees below the seasonal average. It settled for a while but was gone by the late afternoon. The children had what I hope is the last opportunity to make snowmen. I'm off to Bruges tomorrow for my birthday which is on Thursday. My kitchen was installed by Bodgit, Shortcut & Skimp and it has turned into a disaster which I am sorting out with Magnet. Keep peddling for Britain. All the best, Mark x |
