RSS weirdness
Hi guys, I've been following your blog for a while now. I'm on the road myself (pedalpanam.com). Just wanted to mention that I use Google Reader to keep track of all the RSS feeds of other cyclists on the road, and a few times now a bunch of your old blogs pop up in my feeder. For example when I checked it this morning "Update at last" post shows up twice as March 1st and March 5th, and "when throwing fake rocks stops working..." showed up again as March 28th. I'm not sure if anything can be done, it may well be a Google Reader issue, but I thought I'd mention anyway since it might be a bug on the travelblog.org site. Safe travels, -Matt.

How to Avoid the Brits
In order to avoid any more unfortunate encounters with the British contingency presently in Nicaragua, the following website will allow you to track and suitably distance yourselves from the loud, crude and ever so smelly individuals that you had the burden of travelling with for the last few days.... Her majesty the Queen, once again sends all her apologies for such a perfectly unpleasant experience... http://share.findmespot.com/shared/faces/viewspots.jsp?glId=086rIncJ1bKr706cO9mgmgDa0hCkCabvk Miss you guys already... see you soon al

There are other Kiwi cyclists in Mexico?
Hi there, My husband and I are cycling from Alaska to Argentina and have been enjoying reading your blog entry into Guatemala. We are in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico right now doing some Spanish Classes. I noticed you talked about some Kiwi's. Are there other cyclists from New Zealand on the road right now? I would love to get in contact with them! We also have a website - www.cyclingwithsally.com Keep in touch and stay strong - those hills sound gruelling! Belinda and Roland

Gringo, Gringo, Gringo
We had kids chanting "Gringo, Gringo, Gringo..." as we triumphantly rode up from La Mesilla (which was only 5 or 600m above sea) to here (here being 2400 or something). The boarder was messy and I guess those highland Chiapans are distracted or something cause they didn't even bother to warn us of the boarder. In fact I don't think they noticed us leaving.

We wondered what was going on in the DF zocalo but didn't venture to really find out. Glad you did... while I flee from the cold, Mexicans are creating a winter wonderland. How Ironic.

Hujuapan hearts u
So happy to see that H-to-the-L made the blog! We had a blast hosting you. Hope the memories of crazy Catholics at 4:30 am, my crazy co-workers at 3:30 am, and crazy-long drives to waterfalls (and Camilla!) make you laugh from time to time on the long road ahead...or at least helped you get through the killer hills on the way to Oaxaca City. Sending lots of love to you both. Merry Ku-ri-su-ma-su!!

Watch out dogs of Huajuapan!! I need to get one of those plastic guns for the pinches perros that chase me on my morning runs. They have totally figured out the fake rock bit -- after many months of just throwing air, now the dogs just continue to chase me. Makes me run faster, I guess. Can't wait to see you guys! My students are excited, too -- just told them about the crazy hippie bikers coming next week.

Book
Really loved reading the article, it made me smile! Hopefully, the whole adventure turns into a book one day! ;) I laughed at the part when Nicholas suggest one direction and Emi suggested the other and she turned out to be right. Isn't that always true? :)

Love you guys!
Was having a good old reminisce about BEE at the weekend and the shot of Emi fixing a flat in a BEE shirt made me smile. The Scottish winter had really set in now so I'm tremendously jealous of your trip. Keep up the good work. Maybe Emi's flats are karmic after all of Nick's spoke problems in Hokkaido! CJ

Dear lord. We're still in Ensenada. I can't wait to be back on the hot, dusty, under construction roads. Hope we find that Cheese Oasis... Keep going! You're doing great!
