Today we introduced ourselves to Tokyo with a Greyline tour. Starting out at the Dai-Ichi Hotel, navigated through traffic until we arrived at Tokyo Tower. There were some amazing views of the city. After the tower, we arrived at the Meiji Shrine, just it started to rain. The Meiji Shrine is home to the largest Cedar Tori. A Tori is the entrance gate to a Shinto shrine. Meiji Shrine
Sake!
Before you enter...

Today was our flight from LA to Narita, Japan. The long flight was just under 12 hours, and we lost a day upon our arrival. Both Dad and I are excited to head out to Tokyo, but the 90 min ride to our hotel with the 20+ min walk to the hotel took us out. We stayed at the SkyCourt Hotel in Asakusa.
