I have wanted to visit Budapest for decades as I have always heard such positive things about this city. We found a good flight and hotel package so chose to finally visit here for our 2008 wedding anniversary trip. We stayed at The InterContinental Hotel which is situated on The Danube and our room was a wall of windows overlooking the river and Buda Castle. Our stay was enhanced by the hotel upgrading us to the club floor service level.
