Quality time. - From: All Praise to Sat-Nav!
GiantSteve, You were a great traveling partner for 10 memorable days. For both of us, the visit to Lamborghini was special. Much and all as I love my Porsche, I've put an Espada onto my "collection" list. We agreed, the Miura Concept car has got to be one of the most beautiful and desirable ever. Steve, great trip, great fun and great son. Memories for a lifetime. Papa.

Living the dream Steve... living the dream - From: A Brief Stop in France
Gee mum & dad are pushy about reading your blog! But I'm glad I did, you're doing a fantastic job schwepsie. Screw the American's and their attitude towards the French, haha. Also I'm glad you didn't wake up in a bath full of ice without one of your kidneys! :) Next time you should try thai cheese wine soup - it's to die for.

Hi Steve, Glad to hear that good 'ol Hospitality is not dead EVERYWHERE:) You can still meet people here and there who have no hidden agendas.... they are just plain NICE :) We've all kept up with your travels with great interest.... each day you'll hear someone say " Has Steve written another Blog yet? What's new? Where is he now, what new sights are they enjoying?"... so, you have a captive audience back home :) Take good care of yourself, see all you can see, come back happy and satisfied.... but I'll guarantee... you'll be off again as soon as you can :) Once the Travel Bug bites, there's no cure :) Keep the great commentaries coming. See you when you get home

Well Done! - From: Lorsch Part II
Hi Steven Sounds like you guys have had a really good and interesting time. I have really enjoyed your amusing anecdotes of your trip. I am not reading your blog to purely 'stalk' Andrea's comings and goings in her trip overseas (as only a parent would) but your writings have really given me an insight into your travels. Enjoy the rest of your trip on your own and travel safe!

I like Mr Voice-over Man - From: From Venice to Germany
Sounds pretty awesome Steeeeve. I discovered that meeting/staying with a local kicks ass - if only we had done it more... Things are sounding pretty great, I hope it continues in a similar fashion! Getting lost is kinda fun isn't it!

He looked better with the beard - From: From the Alps to the Sea
I whole-heartedly endorse Andrew's above comment! Also I know the feeling, you do the traveling necessary to go somewhere and you're looking forward to it and then *thhhbt* it sucks. The next place always looks great by comparison though!

Snow and Mountains and Fun - oh my! - From: OK, so we're in Paris
Oh, my Schwepsie sounds like he's having a magical time! Aren't foreign king fu movies the absolute best to laugh at!? I know we did plenty of that. Your entries continue to make me smile (with simmering envy underneath).

Nice literary scrawls my boy! Your trip sound super-duper so far, and mine's over and I'm at home doing a massive pile of laundry... it's not fair!

Greetings Adventurers - From: From Venice to Germany
Not sure whether you plundered or blundered your way through Italy. Mum sat next to my PC as I read out your latest episode - very amusing & entertaining. Imagine having one day in Venice and being lost for most of it. You're right about the pigeons - the acid in their crap is dissolving the stonework and they nest in and wreck the roofs of the buildings. The other major issue (apart from the Italians themselves!) is the rising water (or is it sinking land?). Where are the pics? Florence and Venice (and Pisa) and no pics! We assume that Kat has now flown to Sweden and you spend a week in Lorsch. Bet it's b..... cold. Thinking of you and love from mum, who's doing well. D

Oh, I'd love to be over there with you. I'd much rather the colder weather than the stupid humid and rainy weather you left behind here in Brizzy. LOL

Onya kids! :-) - From: England, pubs and severe cold
Great to hear that you made it in one piece. Just remember, our Brissy winter does dip below 5 degrees every couple of years. Our summers are just too long to remember. :-) Have a great tour around France. Eat muchos pizza. :-)

- From: And so it Begins
Hey, don't worry, there are barely any cannibals round here, so you should be fine. Apart from that, don't forget to sample the beer when in belgium, it's what we use to compensate for our lack of kangaroos, and it's pretty effective.

Up up and away - From: And so it Begins
Have the first of many trips of a lifetime. How does a father bird feel to see his fledgling stand on the edge of the nest, hesitate.....then jump into the unknown? Alone, but proud. Dad
