Mum sat next to my PC as I read out your latest episode - very amusing & entertaining. Imagine having one day in Venice and being lost for most of it. You're right about the pigeons - the acid in their crap is dissolving the stonework and they nest in and wreck the roofs of the buildings. The other major issue (apart from the Italians themselves!) is the rising water (or is it sinking land?). Where are the pics? Florence and Venice (and Pisa) and no pics! We assume that Kat has now flown to Sweden and you spend a week in Lorsch. Bet it's b..... cold. Thinking of you and love from mum, who's doing well. D |
