| 5th December 2005 Sharon - mscaleb@texas.net | Thank you so much - From: Steaming to Darjeeling by Toy Train Although I'm sure it's different now, your photos gave me a much needed idea of what Darjeeling looked like. My great grandfather died there in 1899 and without your pictures, it would just be another name on a map or in a book. I may never find his gravesite, but your pictures let me know how it looks. Thanks so very much!! | ||

Nothing but a good time and the people so nice. I think you found a bad tourist trap. Thanks for the story about the river boat and eating. I did not try that and now I wont. Good luck. - chuck | ||

| 4th December 2004 anonymous | Thanks for the awesome photos - From: Steaming to Darjeeling by Toy Train Thoroughly enjoyed viewing the photos. Quite unique in that the views are taken from a passenger's perspective. The photos capture the essence of Himalayan life and the excitement of travelling by DHR. A resident of Darjeeling for 14 years before I moved to New Zealand, the photos brought back warm memories. Many thanks. | ||
