Hey guys, So I know were pretty horrible at adding to this page but yeah...were in the bay islands in honduras. I'm here with Jay and Richard and pretty much all were doing is going out on boats and, well, diving. This place is incredible. You can get a dive package of 10 dives for 150$ US!!! 15$ a dive! It’s insane. All the courses here are super cheep too, actually it’s suppose to be the cheapest place in the world to dive and get certificates. You’d think that the shops and instructors would be pretty shady for that price but it’s not. The places are just as professional as the other one’s i’ve seen (not that I’ve seen tons but ya know). Get this, when you pay to get your masters dive certificate (750$, in ... read more

hey, so here is the bit where we went to western guatemala and climbed the highest volcano in central america. It is 4220 m high. the dates on the blog are completely arbitrary as i cant quite remember when we were there. so the volcano was awesome, super super cool sunset and sunrise..was soo soo cold on the top and including altitute sickness was pretty hard. worth it though! on the way back towards antigua i had to put my backpack (geremi) on the top (check out the pic) of the bus when we were in a traffic jam...and i guess the traffic moved so the bus started speeding along while i was on top....so i had to climb down, camera in mouth hanging on to the bars and climb in the backdoor (the buses here ... read more

A few of them are active and so one day we climbed volcan pacaya which was super cool. we were within 3 feet of actual lava. We met a bunch of ppl in antigua and ended up doing a but of travelling with them (3 from holland, a french and a canadian). After antigua, we were at lago atitlan which is a lake surrounded by volcanoes. very beautiful! ok, enough gay writting, check out the pics!... read more

Ok, so we went to the markets Chichicastenango, which i think is one of the largest in Guatemala. To get there we had to twist and turn along some pretty amazing roads within view of 3 volcanoes in the area. The markets were incredible!! haha you have ppl EVERYWHERE offering you everything you can imagine. From traditional Mayan "Trajes" to tin buckets that you would never use but they want you to buy anyways. We were 9 ppl as we´ve been travelling with Emilie for the last while and 2 girls from Holland, a guy from france and another from montreal (he lives on my grandmothers street in NDG!!). OH yeah!! haha before i go on. Little side story, the weirdest thing ever happened to me while staying in San Pedro. I was giving someone info. ... read more

From Tulum we made our way to Caye caulker in Belize. We took an overnight bus from Tulum to Caulker for nice 12 hours. Belize city is pretty run down so we pretty much bolted for the ferry to caulker. Key caulker is SUPPPPPPPPER laid back. Some nights we would just walk up and down the main road (i.e. a sand passage way) extremmelly slow, saying hi toeveryone and then repeating. WE did dive the blue hole here. it was amazing! we got to dive at 140 feet below with reef sharks and other big fish. we also did some snorkelling with some awesome animals.... read more

We are now in Tulum, Mexico. We are at a hostel that gives us a room, breakfast and free internet for 12$. Not bad! Although as we venture further south, it is only going to get cheaper and cheaper. So far all has gone smoothly. We went to Playa del Carmen for our first three nights. There we visited Akumal to snorkel with turtles (see pics). Some chillin' on the beach and lots of snorkelling. Today we are at Tulum. We went snorkelling today and saw lobsters, lots of fish and a HUGE eagle ray (about 6 feet across) that was eating the lobsters. A six foot barracuda also! Some highights include Damian ordering hotdogs when he thought they were meat for sandwiches. Geremi getting his hand bitten by a pelican. that is for now, internet ... read more
