That is one more sweet looking couple. Hope their lives are filled with goodness. Love to read your blogs always makes me feel a little closer to each of you. I miss you something awful both in Tanzania and here. Take care of your good selves and be careful on the roads. as always, jus ken
thank you Thank you George for the update and for the information on getting these lessons. I am going to your web site now. Praying for you all. Love, Debbie
Tiftonia congregation George and Joy, it gladdens our heart to know that Tiftonia was able to help in some small way to help get the booklets printed. It is our prayer that many will receive and respond to the Gospel of Christ through your efforts.
We just wanted to let you know we have a new preacher here at Tiftonia, his name is Gary McDade. Gary was the Executive Director of GBN (The Gospel Broadcasting Network) and a friend of Joy's dad.
We thank you for all the hard work and sacrifices you and your family have made and are still making in the name of our Lord.
Your brother and sister in Christ,
Jim and Judy Marshall
Gospel Literature Glad to hear about your work in getting good literature into the language of the people. I do not know of a more effective way to evangelize and build up the saved in Africa than by the means of literature. The African people in the eight African nations I have worked in have all impressed me with their desire for printed materials. I hope you will be able to do much more in the future. You and your fine family are in our prayers.
Rod
Well that was good advice about printed material and being simply put for understandings sake. What I have learned from the Jensen's is that missionaries are some of the most inventive and enthusastic people on the face of this earth and I am most honored to have some of them as dear friends. That booklet is part of our KW 20/20 Vision plan for South Ms and is being used by members of KW as a tool for personal evangelism. Thank you George for making that possible. You Jensen's are a certain blessing in my life and the lives of many others. Take care of your good selves on the roads and othewise. God speed and God Bless. just ken
Prayers Poor Charles! That is a pretty incredible string of delays, even by Tanzanian standards! I pray that Editha's family will agree to his proposal and that he will be able to bring his bride home with him. Love you all!
OIA Only in Africa. Sad story but one I pray has a happy ending. Good to read your blog brother. I miss you and your sweet family every day. Hope all is well and you are finally getting your new "digs" the way you want them. Just returned from FHU lectures and a lot of snow and cold weather but the lectures were good. Wish I was independently wealthy I wouild fly your bunch home so they could enjoy them as well.
You are in Carolyn and my prayers often and we wish you God speed. as always, just ken

George, stop fixing one problem "When George fixes one problem, it seems two more pop up."
You've got to figure out how to get George to stop fixing one problem!
Greetings Just finished teaching my Missions class at ETSPM. I'm hanging on to it until George comes to take it. I won't teach this quarter but will teach World Religions summer quarter. We're going to Australia in mid-March for three weeks. I think we once had bats in our attic in one house we lived in in Zambia. I never went up to check it out. I was afraid of what I might find. We can relate to your water problems. You will really enjoy the luxury of living in America when you return. Keep up the good work. You are in our prayers. Rod and Brenda
Hello from the Gee's We're glad you arrived safe and sound. Setting up your house in Africa is certainly more complicated than moving in America. I hope the bats won't bother you. Back in 2005, we found a baby bat in a pile of clothes in our laundry room. I had no idea how it got there. I guess maybe the stork brought him to the wrong house! We hope things begin to get a little easier. I hope the church in Iringa will grow by leaps and bounds. Love, Trina (for the Gee family)
You want to know what is impossible-NOT LOVING THe JENSENS that's what!! Ya'll are amazing and wonderful and about a 100 other good things I could think of. Glad you are getting settled bats and all. Love you from here to there and back. just ken
Ladder Fortunately, we do have a ladder, which is now in our possession. It was on the moving truck, but we needed some lights before the truck arrived, therefore..it was do what he could with what he had. :)
Where's the step ladder? :) Hi Joy and George,
Saw the picture of George Standing on those coolers didn't look too safe!!!! It reminded me of what I've done awhile back using a bucket to stand on to get some things down from a shelf, I tipped right over, thankfully didn't get hurt too bad. Happy you all arrived to your home safely...looks like sooooo much work ahead of you in the house. Take care for now..
Our love to you all... Cookie and Bob
Thanks Dear Jensen's,
Thanks for putting our recent house woes in perspective - mouldy carpets are not near as bad as what you all are experiencing! It's a good thing that you Jensen's are so handy and resourceful. Take care!
With Love,
Patrick and Chantelle Swayne
Homesick? The pictures made me homesick - NOT!! - for Africa. Hope you get settled into your new home soon. I'm excited for you and for the work in Iringa. On my one trip to Tanzania, I visited Iringa and thought to myself, "If I were going to work in Tanzania, there is where I would want to start." We keep you in our prayers.
So blessed! I know that with every trial, you are thanking God for the blessing to be bringing the gospel to the lost in that area. We're praying for you! Hang in there! John Henson
Our family has participated in numerous mission efforts over the last 20 years. In 2005, we had the great privilege of traveling together as a family to India, where we worked for one month. We began contemplating the idea of doing foreign mission work. In May of 2006, our whole family spent the month of May working in Malawi, Africa. During this trip, we observed the great need for more teachers and preachers in Africa. After much prayerful consideration, we made the commitment to move to Tanzania, Africa and work with a mission effort known as Tanzania 2000.
Our family arrived in Mos... full info
