memories That's all I have left now 10 months after arriving back, memories. It was just about this time last year that we were where you are now.
Check out www.colvinyeates.zenfolio and double click on the Jordan thumbnail then click slideshow. Feel free to plagiarise.
Life isn't fair 100 whole days since your last sojourn - how on earth have you managed? You know now of course that my wife is asking, (no wait, DEMANDING) I find a quarry with similar perks.
If you are hanging around the Middle East for a while, then Petra, Damascus and Palmyra are the Yeatesy must sees. Then while you are in the neighbourhood, why not duck into Jerusalem for a snippet.
The food served up in Istanbul sounds almost as tempting as the cold McDonalds dished up to us at prolonged incidents.
If you make it to Aleppo, check out the Sissi House Restaurant and try a bottle of a Lebanese red they have on the menu.
Yeatesy.
flag n1ce p1cs gaz - espec1ally the flag
also agree the walk1ng tour 1n berl1 1s by far the best however the red l1ght d1str1ct 1n amsterdam 1s a close second
The Party is OVER But only for this year (for some) 2008 looks good - not bad photos - see you in 6 months, this little duck has more holidays to savour!! If you can call 40 degree Athens savouring...
Rubber ducks Gaz, i was wondering if one of the big cranes was to pick up the big duck would all the water flow down the drain hole. Perhaps we should discuss over coffee.
Coffee You wont be able to get a coffee at nuns when you get back to sunney no rain beautiful weather in Sydney. Not enough seats. Its had a write up in the saturday telegraph and also been on Sydney weekend.
W... Should I mention the W word? or have you taken more than your 4 weeks holiday! we met a dwiss guy now living in NZ who says if NZ makes the final of the Americas cup he is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Who does he cheer for. He can only be a winner.
By the way, my wife wants you to post a close up photo of yourself to see if she recognises you from the the steps of Grind!.
Enjoy, let us know if you are heading towards Bosnia!!
So my question is can you see the Great Wall of Jamon from outter space?
p.s. if you can blog about doing laundry I am going to start a vacumming blog. b.x.
Kit kats Gaz, if soup is not a meal, then a kit kat in Valencia can hardly count, put some jamon in the boot for next time, with a bottle or two of the red, they both might age together.
