After a nice and relaxing vaca in Santorini we were off to the hustle and bustle of Cairo. Cairo is definetly a unique location and we like it. This was our second visit here. We've found the newest addition to our favorite locations. We loved Santorini, especially Oia. I'm trying to convince Tony to buy a little cave house! The October temp was nice and sunny. A little windy though and not warm enough for me (Gabriela) to get into the water (about 75 degrees), but we loved it! We ended up renting a car to tour the island. It was amazing. We had Brian and Chrissy visit us for 3 weeks, incredible how time went by so quickly. It was a pleasure having them. While they were here we went off to Switzerland (Interlaken), France (Paris), Greece (Santorini), and Egypt (Cairo). We hope to provide our blog fans some quick pics of of our adventures. Hello everyone, Sorry for the zero blogs these days. We finally had a moment to at least provide you a sentence or two of our adventures and provide you pictures. Sitting in the Land Rover, we almost couldn't believe what was happening. A young gazelle was separated from its herd and it was heading right for the prowling lion. The female lion lay crouched in the tall grass, just barely visible to those of us in the vehicle, and not at all to the Gazelle. The gazelle, especially when young, hops more than it runs, so it was like watching an adorable fluffy bunny hop right into a pit bull cage. It was exhilarating and horrifying at the same time. On the down-slope of our time here in Europe, Gabriela and I decided that it was time for one more major travel adventure. Like a hibernating Kodiak awaking from his winter slumber, so does this Blog arise to the dawn of a new year. Sure, I'm aware that it's March, but The Blog cannot be confined by mere time or space.
