Well it was an early rise for all of us. We were all awake by 0400. We watched TV and were the first ones down for breakfast. It was then off for an early walk down Nanjing Rd. It was nice to see the ladies doing their fan dance and the people working with the swords. By the time we walked to the Bund and back it was time to meet Paul at the market. We had a great time bargaining for items. Paul left and we did a little more shopping and then headed for lunch. Our afternoon was topped off by a trip up the Oriental Pearl Market. It is the night before we leave for China. At our Uncles in Toronto for the night with our puppy Max. Can't wait for tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!! We will all need a good rest for tomorrow. Flight leaves at 12:30, and then nothing but sky for 14 hours. Payton =)... read more

This is my first entry into our official blog for our trip to China. We are all getting excited. Our trip begins next Sat with our flight to Shanghai. We are all very ecstatic that Uncle Paul will be working on the flight. We will spend a few days in Shanghai before we head to Nanchang, which is where we first met Parker. After a few days there we take a train to Yichang and board our Yangtze River Cruise ship. At the end of the cruise we will end up in Chongqing which is where we first met Payton. Again we will spend a few days there and then head to Xi'An to see the terra cotta warriors. Our stay there will be brief. We will then board another train to Beijing where we will ... read more
