Well Im sure some of you have heard that I may have been coming home early: this is sadly untrue. I did give my two weeks notice at work today to an extremely unhappy manager. I also decided that I'm going to make the most of my australia adventure (however lame that sounds) and head to perth. I want to be in a less busy place and apparantly Perth is beautiful with awesome surf and is also a small city. Well I have to say that it was a good night (errrr... afternoon) drinking with you all back home. For those of you who dont what im talking about, Mark had people over at his house and we all got drunk together as my head made an appearance on his TV. I havent had my laptop runnign in the past week and a bit so I appologize for my absence. Well, the job isnt all that bad. Ive met some cool people. WAtching alot of world cup and managed to get the stanley cup finals. Still ahvent seen game 7 even thought its been played and im trying really hard not to peek on the internet. Alright, so I know ive been neglectant of this online journal (I still refuse to call it a blog) but honestly not alot of interesting stories have come to in the past two weeks. Sorry guys, not much to update. Been relaxing in Sydney. Tom stayed here a few nights as he came to sydney from Wollongong where his uncle lives. Went clubbing a few nigvht but have basically been hanging out with FLicko, Emily and Lucy. I got a job at rebel sport, start monday. Rebel sport is similar to sport chek back home and I'm selling soccerballs, rugby balls, jerseys and skis. Fuckin eh. I did the swing two days ago which was fun but nothing special. Not alot to say there. The reef trip however was amazing! I started early after a late night becuase Paul and Lisa who I met at the hostel made me come out. I had my free voucher and was told that I could save it for another day becyuase the seas were extremely rocky. Fuckin Eh. I went and did the bungee swing which with Paul and Lisa as I was without Tom for the first time in over a month. We had our free swing which was really fun but not as good as Tom and Clancy made it out to be. We got to Scotties by nightfall which was a quaint little hostel with a central pool, TV room and off hostel pub. Tom and I unpacked our bags in a room that we shared with a Swiss guy and Clancy or Carl (whichever I prefer at the time). We ate dinner at the pub where I was a little too extravagant in my purchase of kangaroo for a meal. Since last entry In Airlie beach the Girls had left us and it was Just Tom and I for some relax time. Tom and I went out sober and ended up having a dance-off at 3 of 4 clubs that we went to. I was the King of the Dance floor voted by one really strange hippie girl. There was only one person voting but it still meant a lot to me. We spent the next day sleeping, literally all day.
