Well, here we are at the end. Only 2 days left of the boiling heat and then the shock of the freezing cold, rainy, grey weather of England will hit us. Great. We're back in Mexico and have been for the last 8 days. In Isla Mujeres. Chilling out on the beach all day everyday. Tom is at the end of his tether. Today was our last day though, I think he is pretty relieved that this ordeal is over. Theres not much to report, the beach is the most amazing beach I've ever seen. The water is so clear, we [View Full Entry]

Yes, we are out of Mexico. Me and TJ took such a dislike to the stinking ugly mexicans of Mexico City that we got the hell out there and came to Belize. Belize is awesome. We're on an Island called Caye Caulker and its so chilled out. It rules. Their first language is English so no more "Hola", "No gracias I dont want to buy your hammock", "Por Favour" shit. The Belize people are rastas with huge dreads and speak like dis mun. We stayed in a wicked hostel were we met loads of cool kids from America, Australia etc... The [View Full Entry]

Hey Kids, We're now in Mexico City but before we arrived in this corrupt town (we were given a speech on how corrupt the police are by the taxi driver Emilio who scared the shit out of us. In his words "Mucho, Mucho corrupt") we were in Guadalajara, more importantly Tequila. We went to the home of Tequila, Tequila....and had a tour around one of the distilleries. It was just me and TJ on our own private tour of how its made and bottled etc... At the end we got to do some Tequila tasting. I couldn't think of anything more [View Full Entry]

Hiya Luvs, We're in Taxco now, a small town built on the steepest hills in the world. We've been trekking round silver markets all day and its been a pretty good workout. So to get you up to date.... We left Puerto Escondido for Acapulco after a run in with a stupid Mexican called Juan who ruined any chance we had of liking the Mexicans and 600 pesos poorer. Long story. When we got to the bus station Tom saw one of his school friends, Collom - also going to Acapulco with 4 other guys. Small world. The bus ride was [View Full Entry]

Hey Kids, Im finally up to date with these blogs, Its been the bain of my life of recent. Well not really. So were in Puerto Escondido. The surfers town in Mexico... the whole place is full of 'duuudddes' with boardys and long hair, tom kinda fits in I guess but I feel slightly inadequate next to the hot surfer chicks. It makes me want bleach blonde hair. Now. We left San Cristobal on Friday night and managed to get some money in the end so the next day went on a spend up. I say spend up but in Mexico [View Full Entry]

So heres the story of the curse I have with travellers cheques and bank cards.... Yesterday we arrived in San Cristobal de las Casas a beautiful town high (2200m) in the southern mountains, not far from Guatemala. As usual by this time we were running low on cash. We're turning into a habit. Its kind of fun living on the edge... but not so much. This morning we went to cash in our travellers cheques at the HSBC in the centre of town. You wouldn´t believe how hard doing anything is in this country, nobody speaks a word of English and [View Full Entry]

Well, here we are in Palenque. A Mayan ruin site. I dont really have much interest in the ruins but I guess we should really see them as were here. For the past two nights we have been staying in a jungle cabana. Its full to the brim of moths, I swear, at night its moth central. It has a thatched roof so anything can get in. It didn't bother me so much in the day but when night came I was pretty pathetic. I was ok at first but then the moths joined us so Tom decided to burn the [View Full Entry]

Whatsup Bredrins, Anyway......Me and chicky bucket are now in Merida. Its the capital of the yucatan penisula. A nice little city which me and Tom are loving. In the words of Ronald MacDonald....Im lovin it. We didn´t like it much when we first got hear though as it looked like a shithole in the dark and I thought for sure it was the last night of my life as there were some shady characters. Absoloutley no one speaks English and me and TJ are the only travellers who speak no mexican. Yesterday was really hard. We booked the boat from Isla [View Full Entry]

Hola, Buenas Dias. I know most of you guys have read this in an email but im starting my blog from now so im backtracking a little. Write me good stuff back kids. Im sat in an internet cafe in Isla Holbox which is a little island at the top of the Yucatan pennisula. It is boiling hot, white sand as soft as icing sugar...this is no lie, I said exactly that when I stood on it and couldn't get enough of it, rubbing it in my toes. People thought I was mad. I am listening to the mexican version of [View Full Entry]
