Socialist Chocolate  Europe » Spain » Andalusia » Granada
As I attempt to share my experiences through this rather unconventional medium of communication let be just tell you that I am dining on fine chocolate in celebration of Obama’s inauguration, while half way around the world. Let me just say that the only reason that I have succumbed to this celebration, is because it involves chocolate. But, despite the socialist overtake of the world; I do have much to celebrate. As ironic as it may seem to my conservative counterparts, I believe that the Spanish and Italians must be some of the happiest people in the world despite their leftist [View Full Entry]

Unconventional  Europe » Spain » Andalusia » Granada

From my new home Europe » Spain » Andalusia » Granada

My room is very small and right next to a very busy road. Thankfully I lived next to a very busy road last semester in Kellum at FSU and I have no trouble sleeping. My roommate, who is also studying with me, is from Philly and goes to Temple university. We also have a French student living with us [View Full Entry]

The First Five Days :) Europe » Spain » Andalusia » Granada
So I have officially been in Spain for five days and have already had so many wonderful experiances! The first few days I was here alone, which was difficult. I was very intimidated by all of the people and I didnt really know my way around. Thankfully, over the past few days my ¨confidence¨has improved. Jamon is almost like its own food group here, and thankfully I like ham because it was all I ate for the first few days. On day three, I was able to meet up with some of my teammates who are also apart of my program. [View Full Entry]
