Hey, Can anyone please help, me and my boyfriend are visiting Thailand in December 2008 - January 2009. Where is the Best place to be over New Years? Phuket, Phi-Phi? And what beach, hotel? I've searched so many of the hotels and resorts already, but everything I like is VERY expensive! I want to stay on the beach! And if we travel between Bangkok and the Islands,(29th/30th December) is it better to book our bus/boat tickets in advance through "Traveller2000"?? I'm not sure of anything in Thailand. Our flight tickets is already booked, and our first and last nights in Bangkok.
